Back in the days when many 90s children fell in love with MotoGP by watching Vale, Gibernau, Biaggi, Capirossi and many other big names in the live TV as part of their childhood.
Came here to feel nostalgic about my childhood. School vacation during my 5 th standard going to my moms house in island village in kannur ( a county in south Indian state of kerala) Watching motogp, wwe and TNA on cable.
Spectacular! I do miss the more pure man and maching, multiple passes, edge of your seat racing! Rossi, thank you for all the years of thrills! A shout out to Nicky Hayden as well, dearly missed!
Vale is a special man in motogp,, many rider do their great manuver and victory but valentino , he is the man. Extraordinary. He does great² job to be a great legend 👍🏻🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇩🇮🇩
This was a huge race from psychological point of view. Everyone was saying Rossi was not fast enough on the Yamaha, Gibernau had taken the last two races and was again really quick at Mugello (at Valentino's home soil). I think, had it not rained, Gibernau would have probably won as he was clearly preserving some extra speed for the last laps. Still, for Valentino to win being so much slower at the straight and with all the mess at the end, when f*cking Xaus took the lead after 6 overtakes and with the rain, was incredible.
Pure motorbike racing like this that I miss, really the skills of the riders and the toughness of the motorbike, shouldn't be too complicated with electronic problems.
Really good plan and combination between Masao Furusawa, Davide Brivio, Jeremy Burgess and Valentino Rossi as a team to bring back Yamaha Factory to be championship contender after difficult years with previous experiences
It's interesting to think about where all these guys are now. At least one is dead. There are TV commentators, MotoGP team owners, and race officials. I think only one of them is still racing.
When I watch this classics i get really sad. Im sure a lot of you feel the same, rewatching this takes you back in your childhood, in my case I was 14 years old in 2004. Me and my dad ( RIP) were super fans of Rossi and I remember ao well the tension and emotion during the race and finally the joy and hapiness when our idol Win races. VR46 for the eternity
Rossi was called King of Mugello before. This race should've been better if they did not stop the race but nonetheless, a very good race. Rossi winning is always a treat. 💛
I feel like watching MotoGP is currently taking place so I'm taking part in cardiac exercises 😄, indeed the mentality of being a Vale46 champion has been inherent in him and deserves the title of a legend in a motorcycle racing event for the kings of kings. and always for you, GBU vale46 🥰
This is one of many reasons why Rossi is the best ever. He risked his winning streak by agreeing to go to the 3rd best machine on the grid and he succeeded. He could've won 6 titles in a row had he solved the R1's chattering problem in 06 sooner.
I am reading Shakey Byrne’s autobiography and he refers to this race, catching the leading group on his Aprilia and following Rossi for a bit. Good days for motorcycle racing
After 17 years and still love to watch this old school race Goooo VR46 Legend

MotoGP between 2002-2004 hit such a sweet spot, especially 2004 with Rossi's move to Yamaha helping more battles take place.
Maybe 2002 - 2006?

Well the Yam was slower in the straight indien...but not so much .
Just think about last year Yam 😅..
