I love the 15th Doctor's outfits. His overall aesthetic is giving me 1960s/1970s, even with the historical stuff. (Trust me, that Regency outfit is screaming Prince!) He's giving me 100% NO CHILL! I am living for it!
From these pictures I think we can be sure that the 14th Doctor dies from having the 60s/70s section of the TARDIS wardrobe collapse on top of him. Arise, funky Doctor!
@@DDdreamer90wrong because The Meta-Crisis Doctor isn’t the result of a bi generation he is a half Time Lord half human clone grown from the limb of the 10th Doctor
Hoping that his initial tweed look is 15s main costume, I can see that happening for the sake of Marketing, my guess it'll appear in at least episodes 1&4 and briefly in the festive special.
I’m in love with all of these looks so much, I love how plain cool and stylish he is! (It’s almost brutal knowing that I will never be able to be as cool as he is, but tbh I think it’s an impossible standard) Once again you’ve done a brilliant job putting together all of the information into such a well made list.
The problem is have with ncuti constantly changing his look is that he doesn't have a 'it's that doctor' costume for me he doesn't look like the doctor in most of his outfits apart from the original promotional look.
We NOW know what the “orange jacket” look is like seen in “73 Yards”: It consists of a yellow hooded duffle coat, a red beanie hat, a white top with black horizontal stripes, a pair of blue denim jeans and a pair of brown boots
My personal favourite outfit is definitely his debut brown and orange outfit. It's the most 'Doctorey' look yet still feels fresh and unique for Ncuti.
My favourites are the check (even if it's a bit too brown for my liking) and the two leather ones. The one with the black leather jacket will probably be the easiest to cosplay. They're modern, but somehow they're still unmistakably Doctor - must be the Coat. Anyway, I think the post- regen look - as we know now - would be allowed at events.
I may or may have not audibly squee'd when I saw him in his leather coat. Plus the more open chested look is going to attract a lot of attention (Namely me) XD Definitely my favourite look with Ncuti thus far, plus I think its in the tradition of past doctors to have a flowing coat at some point so its much appreciated.
As someone with autism I struggle with the fact that the 15th doctor doesn’t have a consistent base costume I wish the promotion one in tartan coat would be the main costume but alternating jumpers
It’s been a while since a Doctor had had a wide variety of drip. Maybe the first in the modern era? 11 and 12 had a bit of variation but it didn’t deviate too much from their general style. It’s cool that he seems to switch things up a lot in his first series.
This guy looks pretty cool on anything. But I'm not sure I like him having many variations. I hope there's a standard look that he wears more frequently. I like each incarnation to have their own style
Can't say I'm overly fond of any of the outfits for 15 that I've seen. They're quite busy and lack the truly simple yet elegant styles of Ecclestone, Tennant, Smith and Capaldi. The promo shot especially is hard to look at with the clashing checkered designs. The huge variety of outfits kind of robs The Doctor of an identity! Time will tell though.
He is the 14th not the 15. David Tennant is still the 10th Doctor, new regeneration, same incarnation. If you count David Tennant this time then you also have to count the Meta Crisis event in which case he still wouldn't be 14 Jodie Whittaker would be.

AGREED, it’s so retro and in the best possible way! :)
All I know is Ncuti looks stylish in whatever he wears
TRUTH
If you think about it, Ncuti is basically the OFFICIAL Barack Obama of the doctor’s incarnations

Turns out 14 didn't die at all lol. No more dramatic weight in regeneration! Yay!
@@HOTD108_ Yeah that was a bit lame. Tennant's already had one split regeneration, and now he got a second one? Eh...

I haven’t seen a single episode with Ncuti as The Doctor and he already has my favorite fashion sense.
Good job costume department.
If you are gonna try and cosplay the raggedy 15th doctor…. If you’ve seen the special…. At least you don’t have to worry about the trousers ahaha 😅
Ncuti Gatwa looks incredible in every single one of those outfits!

Ncuti and David can make them selfs look so different on TV and film. It is like magic.
Seems like Gatwa will be the suavest Doctor since Pertwee! I am here for it!
The lether jacket really reminds me of the one that Deadshot wore in Suicide Squad in the Batman scene
Very good point!

I think the afro is a great callback to Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, and Colin Baker's, one and all's, big, bushy hair!
So excited for Ncuti's Doctor & how fantastic he's going to look each episode ✨✨✨

I guess we’ll see what shows up most in the episodes proper!!
@@WhoChaser of course, safe to say I'm actually looking forward to it for the first time in 4 years
God, I am so excited about the historical costumes 😍
And I think it's breeches rather than pantaloons!
WOAH I LOVE THAT INTRO!
Thanks! Made by Channel Pup haha :)

Love that second costume. That striped shirt is beautiful.
It was great meeting you at comic con in may (I was the dude in the black skull mask and white suit )
Likewise, great to meet you too! :)

Radical video Dominic your videos are completely amazing and also you are awesome as the doctor and I mean that personally 👏👏👏👏👏👏

The doctor is actually changing outfits for once? finally
As someone with autism I struggle with the fact that the 15th doctor doesn’t have a consistent base costume I wish the promotion one in tartan coat would be the main costume but alternating jumpers

Prediction: every single episode of the Gatwa era will have the Doctor wear a unique costume.
Is there an additional finale look? It's quite military with khaki trousers and grey military boots and a T-shirt and a non-leather khaki belt
Excellent!
Thank you! :)
Do we know where the teal trousers he wears with the leather coat comes from? I really like them!
I can tell that the Doctor Who team really pulled out all the stops for this!
I don't like the Doctor having multiple outfits: he should have one look with occasional variations. He does look cool though
The leather variant
I would have like to have orange in every costume Eg a coat, a jumper, a tie.
Oh well.
That's a great idea. That would be very fitting for a Dr.
@@lptherapygroup6591 thanks for the compliment

His might be his wardrobe
The question is if the Doctor actually dresses that way or uses a perception filter to match the looks of past eras

But what is this brown plaid? It's almost looks like windowpane combined with hounds tooth. Argh. All these plaids have names.
The costumes look very seventys
Too soon!!! 🙅🏾♂

Unfortunately, the BBC and Russell T Davies say otherwise.
Love the look but needs an older haircut.
Narrator: he was not in the tartan trousers, and he definitely still had legs.
