    Very well explained have not sharpened a saw in years. Wish I could afford there stuff top quality dream tools for me. Oh well

    What kind of crosscut saw would you recomend for camping. I dont like to carry a bow saw because of the size and limits to processing wood. Would like a saw with few tpi, can be placed in a leather sheath on a pack. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    you would do best with a saw that will stay 6 inches from the ground when you're standing up and letting it hang, so if you my size 5'9" you're looking at a 24" saw. For camping use where you'll be processing wood you'll want something with a coarse tooth pattern. Check out the corona 7190 razor tooth raker
