I'm about to wire up the 3 relay hi/low with 05+ efans and 2 temp. switches. (Not using the factory harness/ecu). I only found one forum with this info, but your video helped with a better visual explanation. Thanks for sharing
Best video I could find, seems everyone is fine with not having ac after this mod. Thanks for the help hope this video is still up when I need it again
Nice explanation, but you can eliminate the middleman relay by taping from pin 86 on the ac relay (which gives control ground from bcm )to your pin 86 of the fan relay. 😉
Can you explain it in more detail please, im making a relay this way to because black bear performance suggest to make it the same way the OP just explained. But it sounds alot better the way your saying it, please clarify.
@@TheMonstervirus Take pin 86 from AC relay, wire straight to pin 86 on fan relay. Ac relay should be in big fuse box marked AC relay and fan relay should be in small fan fuse box marked fan relay. One wore just go from pin 86 on one to pin 86 on the other. Does that help?
Theres a forum on this where the guy did a write up, he wired it like so... 86-Green AC wire 85-Ground 87-Ground 30-Blue trigger wire on OEM fan relay pack
This way works can even test if first using a relay already in the truck like I took out my horn relay, and wired it like he wired this one, tested and has everything working currently now all I have to do is get a replacement horn relay.
