I am looking for something to protect my SUV in case I hit a deer. There are many tough looking bull bar/ bumper guard, but when I looked more closely, they are mounted on flimsy brackets. I don't think I would bother to add it for a look.

Given where the brackets attach, it doesn't matter what brand you use, you'll have to trim the splash guard. Grow up.
