@saninmw3 The tick is, try not to rebuild Plasticity stuff, in Plasticity, try to rebuild Siemens NX or Alias stuff, in Plasticity. In some cases this is not easy or impossible, but you learn the best techniques when you watch alias or nx videos, the most tools you need are on bord in Plasticity, sometimes you must improvise a bit.
This was more a Freestyle finish of my old Plasticity Patch test future car. ua-cam.com/video/qUi0NBWRgHk/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared Later in the few last Plasticity betas, I used it again to show some experiments on it. Now I try to finalise it. With xNurbs and Square I could realise, cleaner and more complex patches. Most time intensive parts are the hand made gap dimensions and fillets. I don't think I show the whole process in future.
Here, in the first 3 minutes, is a short part to optimize the patches with square. But I don't sub-d it later. Because the pur xNurbs and Square quality is better. ua-cam.com/video/Hzf3gbXlrB8/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
i thought T-spline modeling were about a parallel modeling, couldn't do a gradually hard to soft line or arc (for ex. hand gun grip that has a finger bump on it, couldn't found a way to boolean it). thats why i stop learning fusion 360, but... this... how you manage to do those arc shape that has a hard line with it? im curious.
It looks interesting. I have recently started to be interested in this program, but have not yet started to study it. please tell me, how good is plasticity for creating such forms, how optimal is it for an artist to embody his sketches in 3d? and how convenient is it to make changes to the concept of forms in the process of creating a model?
From my perspective, I think this is the best solution under 1000 Dollar to do all this stuff. A "how good" question is a bit subjective, some people who are good in polygonmodeling would say: " Blender is free, and the best and fastest for all this cases" l. I'm not so good in polygonmodeling...I think, I could do all in polygonmodeling a bit, but I often get weird reflections, because I don't have the talent. But I have much experience in budget cad tools like Moi3d, Fusion360 or Plasticity. And I think for clean surfaces Plasticity is the best in this price range. Over 1000 dollar you can also try rhino, some people can do fantastic surfaces with it. But when you need the maximum pro stuff, you need software like Icem Surf or Alias, the main problem here is the pricing, this is overdose.
@@Kuechmeister I know about polygon modeling. This is definitely not the most convenient option. And if we leave the price aside and compare the exact functionality and convenience of workflow, which program would be preferable? mio3d/fusion360/Plasticity? As for alias, as I understand it, it is more professional software, but probably the workflow there is completely different
This will be considered as rude, but really it's the outer shape of a possible car rather than a 'Concept Car Design', Yes, I agree it looks beautiful but there's much more 'designing' to be done even for a concept such as all the physics and engineering stuff that makes it a practical proposition for manufacture. Having said that, I wish to state that I am a great fan of KS's work. There's a door to get into the thing somewhere I'm sure or is the concept to mimic an F1 race car and not actually have a door?
Very nice design! Reflections are amazing. Shows what Plasticity is capable of doing.
Your work is top notch! Looking forward to more timelapses.
So good, you have mastered Plasticity like no other

Fantastic work and design! Give us more, thanks
Insane curve transitions!🔥🔥🔥
just incredible! pls teach how to do this!!
Is there a tutorial planned?

Do you need something like that? ua-cam.com/video/bJCaeJPZYnc/v-deo.html

Yes, I understand that, I think my video title is a bit Klickbait.
OMG!
