I'm surprised you didn't use a torque plate when you honed the cylinders. How bad was the crankshaft?

Hello, the Company always replace the cilinder liner. The alusil is also e weak spot of this engine.

Interesting that when Audi chose this engine for Lambo they used port fuel injection instead of direct. Probably didn’t want to make it too obvious this was their engine. A Lamborghini FSI engine cover would have been hilarious!
