Create Trippy Psytrance Visuals In Blender 2.9 - Evee Psychedelic Animation Tutorial

  • Опубліковано 19 жов 2020
  • In this 3D psychedelic animation tutorial I will show how to make this trippy psytrance VJ loop in Blender 2.9.
    The programme I am using to create this 3D effect is called Blender and you can download it for free here:
    www.blender.org/
    I will be showing some basic techniques which you can then use for future animations, the goal is for you to experiment from what you’ve learnt rather than just copy. :)
    These techniques are relatively simple and should help any beginner who is learning the basics of Blender animation.
    You can download the project file from here if you like:

    Updated note, you can achieve a very similar result without using the solidify modifier, feel free to skip that step if you computer is struggling, it will significantly reduce the number of verts in the scene.

    I have no experience at all creating visuals, and only had knew very little of the basics to use Blender. I thought it would be impossible of my skill level to understand and recreate these visual, but I actually did! Gave me a huge boost to continue learning and try to create better visuals in Blender, like this trippy visual.

    I'm having a strange behaviour following this tutorial :
    It works with 2.83LTS but not with 2.90.1 or 2.92 alpha
    Furthermore the edge split modifier doesn't appear in the modifier list in 2.83 while it does in 2.9x, but there it has no effect.
    Any one else ?
    However the result is great !!

    So apparently using the bisect x y and z makes my blender crash when it renders. Did you have this problem aswel? I don't know why it crashes, because it should be handling the render just fine. This because it plays very smoothly and doesn't lagg at al in viewport.

    • @NebMotion
      @NebMotion  3 роки тому +1

      I'm not too sure, if you're computer isn't too powerful that might be the issue, try rendering as an image sequence rather than a video codec, at least then if it crashes halfway through the animation you can pick up where you left off
