I don't understand the fascination with drop ceilings in Maine.... Practically every older home that I look at has them.UGH
The older homes with 10 or higher foot ceilings are bigger and more expensive to heat. Dropped ceilings happen!

I loved it. I'd make it a Rooming house, with live in chef, gardner, and maids. I'd have the longest Picnic table made and make brunch for church goers twice a week. A real communal place to receive LOVE. Outside kitchen is a must. Imagine 20 steaks on the grill at once. Can you smell that goodness now? Hear the sounds of happy taste buds, yet? Every day is EVENT DAY. Short term outdoor gardening nursery for children as the Parents shop downtown. The opportunities are endless with this home.
