3 comedy movies I completely adore are Wedding Crashers, Rat race & Mousehunt, I think they deserve more love, they are some of the funniest movies I have ever seen

If you haven't seen it I highly recommend What's Up, Doc? (1972). Strongly overlooked.
Damn, I watched yours and Cody's back to back and I'm laughing at how opposite these two lists are. You put some good ones on here, some I hadn't thought about in a long time. Some of them I do consider more drama, so I guess a Dramady? LOL. As Good as it Gets was such a good film. I added some different ones to Cody's lists based on the tone of his list so I will do the same here based on the tone of yours. If we are going with the more dramatic comedies, I would definitely add Its Complicated, Father of the Bride, and Parenthood (I really enjoy Steve Martin, haha). The Book Club is another one I would add. Dark comedy wise, I loved Death Becomes Her. Kudos to you guys for sitting here and doing this.

I'm not really a comedy guy but apart from Kevin Smith movies the only other films I have laughed at are the Lethal Weapon films and the bit in Braindead where they hit the zombie baby with the frying pan ha.
Mad props for recognizing Ed Wood...I thought I was the only person that still remembers that film.
#5Very Bad Things- Christian Slater Daniel Stern and Jon Favreau- if you like dark comedy its a treat
#4 Mars Attacks- Jack Nicholson Pierce Bronson Sarah Jessica Parker- sci fi comedy at its most insane.
#3 Pump Up the Volume- Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis- Give the "outcast" a microphone and enjoy all he says!
#2 The Wedding Singer- Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore- I'm a 80s baby and this hit all the right nostalgic notes the music the looks special appearance by Billy Idol..it has it all.
#1 Batman and Robin- The funniest movie ever 😆 Clooney is wooden, O Donnell is whatever is does, Uma Therman is just so hilarious and Arnold the man of the one liners delivers an entire movie of them so so perfectly over the top!
I love that you put Silver linings playbook in top ten, I adore that movie even not being a sports fan of any kind, the movie is so personal.

Digging the Wes Anderson love, Groundhog Day, and Sideways! Other Wes Anderson gems include Bottle Rocket, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Darjeeling Limited.
In Bruges at number 2 was awesome to see. Since it’s more of a dark comedy it’s strange to compare it to other raunchy type comedies. Or maybe because it is just so much better than all of them lol
It's undoubtedly better! But on top of that, it makes me laugh a heck of a lot more than those raunchy comedies you speak of, and surely that is the primary thing that a comedy should do.

I definitely love that you have the Muppets and school of rock on there. I grew up on those. Have you seen What we do in the Shadows by Taika Waititi? That is my personal second favourite comedy of all time after Monty Python and the holy grail

I really don't care much for Will Ferrell or his style of comedy, but I did enjoy Stranger than Fiction and thought he gave a good performance in it, so I liked seeing it in your top 5.
Yeah, I wish he'd do more films in that vein.
I personally would change the title of the list to dramedy, it’s not really a comedy list lol, but i’m not complaining , still a good list of drama movies with some humor ^_^

I actually love comedies I probably have more comedies than everything else combined. I probably have 3000 comedies. I’d have a huge problem making a list of 50. I will because I love making lists but it will be difficult for me. Lol.

@@BryanLomax3k is probably an exaggeration but I probably own 4-5000 movies and have sold a lot over the years that I knew i’d never rewatch. Need to do that again sometime soon at least the ones I can get some decent money for selling.

You put a movie on the list that deals with cancer, suicide and the murder of a young woman on your list I'm starting to think your channel is a comedy act!!
It deals with the darkest aspects of life in some of the most irreverent ways. If you don't think you are supposed to laugh at the stupidity of Sam Rockwell's character, or the way in which the main character deals with the police and the media, then you are watching it wrong!

@@bigboimomothahomo3126 that means nothing. When you look up the film on IMDb the first genre tag it is listed under is "comedy". This means nothing either. But my point is that you can always find ways to justify your SUBJECTIVE opinion. And, as I state in the video several times, that's all I'm giving, my subjective opinion. A comedy should make you laugh. And I laughed during Three Billboards far more times than I have with so many other films that were billed as "comedies". Martin Macdonagh makes movies that are dark, dramatic and incredibly funny, all at the same time.
@@BryanLomax I feel like if you explained yourself in the video placing it at number 12 on your all time best comedy movies list than maybe people would understand more..then you wouldn't have had to defend yourself placing it that high, but I would still place this movie more as a drama than anything else

Nice list, some I’ve never even heard of before! My favorite comedy of all time is The Toy from 1982..... different type of comedy than what you have shown on your list.

It shows how subjective as a genre comedy is and what makes people laugh. I include Pulp Fiction as a comedy. The entire dialogue between Jules and Vincent is some of the funniest stuff ever written.

Man you have very very strange tastes in comedy's, I believe 80% of this top 50 have nothing to do with the genre, most of them are action, drama that have some seconds of funny moments/ lines inside them
You are entitled to your opinion. But this is my list, not yours. I get to decide what makes me laugh. And these movies, to me, are far funnier than the vast majority of movies that are billed as "comedy".
