I appreciate your honesty about the top speed you’ve been on a street bike, 145mph is hauling the mail. I’ve had so many dudes talk so much bs about doing 190mph on their old clapped rockets lol
@@BullfrogRoofs All you have to do is gear the bike down with the sprockets and you're capable of most any speed, It just takes a little longer to get there, A bigger front sprocket and a smaller back sprocket is all you need, Most new bikes are capable of crazy speeds, With just playing with the sprockets alone, My funnest bike was a 1972 Kawasaki G5 100cc, It would do 65/70mph when I 1st got it, Then I put the biggest front sprocket and almost the smallest back sprocket I can find, It would go between 110 and 120Mph, You would need about a 2 mile stretch to get it there, I was 14 years old and the bike lasted me a couple of summers, Now my son's got a 03 Hayabusa 40 anniversary, and 5 minutes on that's all you need, The bike is fast enough stock, But he put a 1or2 tooth bigger front sprocket, and bigger injectors on #1 & #4 cylinder only, and I believe he put a Power Commander 3 box, And the thing is stupid fast, You're over 90 miles an hour as soon as you shift in to second gear, Then second gear will take you around110/120mph, And then there are still 4 more gears, I believe it's done over 170 at Barbara's motor speedway in Birmingham, In 5th gear, With 1 more gear to go,
@@BullfrogRoofs I had 1972 Kawasaki G5100cc, The bike did 65/70 miles an hour when I got it, I put the biggest front sprocket and almost the smallest back sprocket, It would do 110/115mph, but you need about a 2 mile stretch to get it there, I was around 14or15 years old, That bike lasted me a couple of summers, Now my son's got a 2003 hayabusa 40th anniversary, He put a bigger front sprocket, Bigger injectors on #1 and #4 cylinder only, A power 3 commander, You're doing 90 miles an hour as soon as you hit second, And then second will take you up to 110/115 mph, At Barbers Motor Speedway in Birmingham, He did 170 in 5th gear, And it still had 1 more gear to go, 5 minutes on that thing is all you need, And then you're smiling the rest of the day, The bike was fast enough stock, I have always went 1 tooth bigger on the front sprocket on every street bike or dirt bike, It saves the chain and the transmission, The smaller the front sprocket is, the faster it turns, And the faster it will wear out the chain, And the bigger the front sprocket is, the more teeth the more metal to be worn down, And doesn't have to spin as fast to go the same speed, The bike doesn't need to have the high RPM's to go as fast, And will go faster, which also saves the engine, the chain and transmission when you're just cruisin and taking it easy on it, Also you have to admit that that's a pretty sweet bike Ken is showing us, ""And for sure the 1 to have"", It would make my day just to sit on it, I've always loved the Kawasaki green street or dirt,
@@BullfrogRoofs Also ken has been close to120+mph easy in front of the shop on the front street, He's been faster than 145mph in all of his riding days, ""But""He may be telling the truth, but I wouldn't bet against it, 120+mph is nothing on some of them Harleys he rides, Much less all the crotch rockets he rode, But if 145 miles an hour is the fastest he's been, That's still fast enough, But still hard to believe that's his fastest, Because if anybody's had the opportunity to go that fast he's the 1, With all the bikes he's owned,
Absolutely in love with the bodywork in the front… In the back too, but the way they incorporated all of the little winglets in front is awesome. 🔥🔥🔥 I guess my only criticism would be is that it does not make 300 hp because we saw the video. There is a video on UA-cam of a guy riding an H2R around the Isle of man and it's a beast. Incredible machine and let's hope they're built for many years to come.
I had the Kwaka GPZ1100ZX fuel injection back in 83..brand new with 120hp and 250kph top speed..and believe me that monster then was TOO MUCH..I could only imagine how much more of a beast this new H2R is.
Death on two wheels. I love it! This bike is not for the average smuck, that's for sure. 240+mph I get a rush just thinking about it. I love it when a vehicle gives me the shakes after a run.
That’s a stock H2R, so power sits at about 250, with a tune and ecu flash they make 270hp. To add more power you can change sc gears. Mine sits at 275hp. Vids on my channel. Stock gearing gets you to about 215mph. With gearing I’ve hit 233.
Cool comment , Love a guy who knows his stuff. Im thinking of investing in a H2 for the street ,here in OZ. Any issues or feedback about the bike would be appreciated Respect....!
Thanks ken for showing us around this incredible motorcycle. Your stock ZX12R 💚 is just as quick over the 1/8 mile as those 2 motorcycles there , mid 6 seconds @ 117mph

Kawasaki was able to afford the R&D for this, likely due to no longer competing in MotoGP, after the economic recession of 2007-08, and focusing on their commercial products and world SBK. Competing in MotoGP has got to be hella expensive. I wonder how MotoGP races would go if all bikes were supercharged
kaplan did a vid with this guy yesterday. the guy bought a new buell from kaplan for cash in full.... this guy knows his stuff and is good with and/or rolling in $$. besides that the 2 other relpies to you explain that the h2 and the h2r are basically vastly different and as explained too in this vid the h2r/the kawi in this vid is an ultra ridiculously fast full on race bike.
Not really no but, there has been a lot of talk before in these videos about people/bikes not living up to their claims after hitting the NEMM dyno, so they should do their best to let us know what the horsepower is and where it was measured... i.e. the crank or the rear wheel. This is a serious enthusiasts channel so people will want to know and ask. I say "No blood, No foul" either way!!! 👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
Kawi always want's to be on top when it come to horsepower. They blew everyone one out of the water with the H2. None of the other manufactures have attempted forced induction on their bikes.
Not a bike you want to drop, prices of those wings and fairings, also that paintwork on the tank has self healing paint which self heals small scratches.
