For this haircut, you will want it short and tight. So you will grab scissors to trim the
back then the trimmers to clean it all up. This haircut is if you want a super short pixie haircut.
You are going to point cut on the top then cut it tight in the back. This haircut will go over your
ear. So you pull the hair out and cut so you don’t take too much length off. This haircut will be
able to let you just scrunch your hair on the go, that way you don’t have to straighten your
curly hair. Make sure you double check your work. RaDona double checks it by putting the
comb up and then cutting. That way you make sure you don’t miss anything. This haircut will
have more length in the front. To get this, you have to angle it to cut. That way you keep the
length. You’re going to use the point cut technique by the side of the ears. Then you texturize
afterward. One way to texture is to go in cut a little bit, skip a piece, cut a little bit. This is such
a great cut for curly hair people. After you texturized a little bit, you are going to connect the
back to the ear. This super short pixie is perfect for everyone including naturally straight hair.
You trim up the front bangs without taking too much and then texturize them. Now you double
check the sides. Then grab the sides with your fingers to see if they are even. To texturize,
you will grab the hair, then cut lots with the texturizing shears to give it even more texture.
Texturizing gives you a lot of movement. That will get it to really stand up. After putting in
some styling products, you blow dry the hair. She moves her fingers back and forth to give it
movement. Then she uses a round brush after a bit to get even more volume. This also helps
so it isn’t super curly. If you use a smaller round brush, it will be more curly. The short hairstyle
can be spikey if you want it to, but it looks good without it. Make sure that it is more of a thin
bang instead of it being thick like most pixie haircuts.
Like I’ve said before, this is in our section of Women over 70 short hairstyles. This is a
Pixie on Naturally Curly Hair. But it works for any hairstyle. Even thin or thick.
For products, RaDona uses her “magical products”. She starts off with Monat’s Root
Lifter ( this is really good to give the hair even more volume) this will also help to put in your
dry hair so you don’t have to wash it again ( you just need to heat activate it), then RaDona
uses Monat’s Moose. ( don’t use too much since it is really concentrated.) this will also help
with volumizing. Then RaDona uses Monat’s Thickening spray to help make it feel and look
thicker. After blow drying her hair, she puts two drops of Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil to shine,
condition, and thicken the hair.

You're on my bucket list. My hair is very fine and now that I'm getting older, it's thinning. I love my hair just bleached out and no color. Gold doesn't look good on me and, of course, want the big hair. I had thought about short but like a little length. I'm getting over pneumonia now but hopefully one day, I'll be able to visit. I watch you all the time. I think you do beautiful short haircuts. I have a question for you. I have very thin and oily hair. I used folicure leave in conditioner for years and they have discontinued it. Do you know of anything comparable to it. I loved it because it give my hair body and shine. Hi, i have a pixiecut but my hair is curly on one side and the other side is straight. i blow dry it and the curls have gone but just for a very short time. As soon as i go outside the curls are back again. Is there a product that can help to keep that side of my head straight?

Love the haircut. I have very naturally curly hair and would like to find a spiky style for me. I asked my hair dresser to cut it spiky. She cut it to short and wasn't texturing right. I have a receding hair line I need to cover an two pretty bad cow licks one in the front and one in the back.

I cringed the whole time . How could anyone not see the line up on the back of the neck was uneven. The right dude dipped much lower than the left. I kept hoping she would fix it but she never did. The right side didn’t match the left especially going around towards the back of her ear. 😞
It was fixed after the camera stopped! Good eye! 👍🏼😊
