The 501st blue was never a dark blue in RoTS, most of the media and toys make it look darker. The night scenes make is look darker. The scene of Yoda killing the 501st trooper in the day it's very clearly a light blue. If the live action suits weren't glossy it would be more accurate.

What about doing queen amidals palace as a one of these mini displays? Specifically the scene when it's just her and she's looking out a stained glass window??
You did it again. Another great looking diorama! The minimalism and simplicity make the builds so great. If you’d ever be interested, making some marvel dioramas would be VERY cool!
Tbh I really like the idea of this, but it looks a bit too crowded. A bigger base would've given that extra buffer even if it's just two studs. Aside from that the floor and pillar design is cool.
the costumes look different cuz its actual suits from the 501st cosplay group. they also helped with the stormtrooper scenes in kenobi and the mandalorian
So the jedi temple situation. You'd think the Jedi, whom can see the future would have put more security features in the temple over the years. I know during the prequels the Jedi vision was clouded or whatever Yodameister said, but that temple has been around for a while. A crushing front door would have helped. A floor that floods with acid would have been nice....the jedi would have just levitate while the troopers were dead. Or even a stately court jester to distract the angry lads.
The 501st color is a huge thing a lot of customizers and cosplayers fight over. ROTS we only really see them in the dark and a lot of companies make the 501st color a dark blue almost indigo. Clone Wars even has it too dark. Technically the cannon color is a lighter sort of greyish blue. The Black Series 501st trooper is probably one of the best examples of what it SHOULD be. In Kenobi I think they looked more teal with the color grading in those scenes.
We do actually see them in the daytime in ROTS during the scene where Obi-Wan and Yoda return to the Jedi Temple and there is also a lot of promotional material for ROTS that uses the actual CGI models so I don't understand why people keep thinking they should be dark blue or even navy blue.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 Yeah I forgot about all the promotional renders and stuff. I think Clone Wars 2003 decided to go with more poppy saturated colors for their animation and the Clone Wars later continued that trend and since that's what MOST of the content we see 501st in, I guess companies just use that lmao.

I would like to see a bigger set from Lego for the Order 66. It's really sad that there aren't any sets or just a few like "the arrest of Palpatine".

Just yesterday, I unboxed all 5 of my 501st battlepacks at the same time. It was glorius! Now I have them displayed on a stand. Great MOC and vid!
