Hey @appledsign, there is a catch. If a person who is using Iphone for a long period of time then he can easily delete that shortcut to open any app, So do you have any fix to that. there is one possible solution and that is to lock Shortcuts app itself, Can we do that??

@@Buboji I am doing this for when I give my friends or someone my phone they won’t be able to open private apps and I don’t think they will go search if in the library they will probably just give back the phone or try to get the password except if they watched this video
this is absurd i think. what about the original instagram app??? that opened without and lock??? its only the copy/ shortcut you created needs the passcode and not the original app?? this is not at all helpful
You could choose to hide the original IG app from the home screen and also go into Siri Settings, Instagram and remove IG from Siri Search etc. It just makes someone else work harder to get to it.

I don't think there's any way around the App Library unfortunately.

Just make an automation to lock the phone every time you want to use the specific app so it uses Face ID or finger print

I did this also for Settings / App library and the Automation app. So you can not enter the original apps
