I was hoping you had a electric chute tutorial. Mine won’t engage.

Thanks for watching, bummer. Any ice buildup on hinge or electrical connections? This can cause it to not engage. Please keep us posted, we just got 6” of snow in the last 3 hours…I’ll be starting up the Ariens snow blower here shortly.

No ice buildup. I was using it for about an hour or so and just stop functioning. Fortunately I had the driveway done pretty much. I use my 30 inch craftsman that I have as a back up with the mechanical handle.
by the way, I bought it used last Thanksgiving ,it’s a 36 inch beast and I had the belts replaced within a month. The mechanic said the machine is about 20 years old and has some great features that even the new ones don’t have.
I was flabbergasted that it was that old. It looks brand new-not even a scratch on it. Also came with that hooded cover which I removed after the first time using it.
I am a dunce with anything mechanical, so I’ll take it back to the mechanic and update you to add to your knowledge of expertise.

That’s incredible, 20 year Craftsman’s are gems! We would hold onto that one. 😁👍🧰
