Excited for this. I have one on order from Guitar Center. I had some money to spend from my employer for my 15 and 20 year anniversary that I let build up. Around $800, so it'll pay for about half of this guitar. Right now I'm trying to build up a list of songs that have the same progression the entire way through (i.e. no change for the verse vs chorus vs bridge, etc).
Ordered one as well.. take a look at Youngso kim playing "With or without you" by U2. It's probably the first song I'll learn with the guitar and looper. Not a major U2 fan, but it's a really sweet rendition that will translate nicely
Had it for a day. Really great except for the direct out sound. Very piezo and quacky. Fun at home, but not great through speaker, although you seemed to make it sound fine ! Didn’t love the proprietary charging cable. Should have been usb-c. Great video and playing . You are my go to when I wanna know what’s up. 🙏
Great looping jam in the intro! Always enjoy your playing. The guitar looks like a good one. I've thought about the Lava type of guitar like that, but I think this one would be a better version.
Pretty cool! I think at this price point and considering how digital it already is, I'd want to see them also include some built-in Impulse responses to "fake" a better acoustic sound for the direct out. If you're already layering in digital effects, you might as well improve the piezo sound.
Pre-ordered this here in Germany upon initial announcement, way back in October. Delivery date keeps getting postponed…now to mid-March 2025. :-( Thanks for helping me (further) whet my appetite for it. Also thanks for pointing out the relative lack of bass „oomph“. Might actually turn out to be a good thing for me, as a guy with a low voice who tunes all his guitars down to C# standard (with thicker-gauge strings), which can accentuate bass and downplay the treble strings on some guitars. That said, I already own the FG-TA by Yamaha, and love it. And its piezo sound is quite OK (not so sure how much I lied the piezo sound of the TAG 3 C…).
I'm thinking about it. My opinion is that it sounds good as an acoustic guitar, and that the built-in effects also sound good not great. What you'd expect for the price. It's not going to sound like a high-end Martin, Taylor or Gibson, or a higher-end Yamaha pure acoustic. There's something a bit thin about the sound. But the built-in looper is tempting.
Had mine for a week or so now, absolutely love it. Great demo and playing
That was some masterful looping in that intro!
I Live your playing, very nice.
Tempting for sure. Even for those who already own more than enough gear. 😎👍

That jam deserves a chef's kiss. Can you release that jam as a single?

Good call. The lave / hyvibe ones look and sound pretty bad in comparison

That looks like a fun guitar ngl
