I’m cautiously optimistic. It absolutely can’t be worse than the tories, the question is how hard can Labour fight to maintain the seats it has won? Can it win even more the next election, and take enough from the tories to ensure they are not the opposition? How much real change will they make? Labour didnt catch them though.... Keir got less votes that Corbyn in both 2017 AND his wipeout in 2019 with only a minute increase in vote share of 1.6%.
Keir drove people away from Labour in absolute droves. This was one of the annoying and unfair quirks of FPTP, the Tory vote collapsing and Reform split it in other places, this led to Labour winning huge numbers despite people not liking them.
Our Democracy is absolutely absurd when someone with 40% of a vote is considered 'unelectable' and absolutely lambasted by the media, yet this man, who seems to be widely hated and tolerated only because he's not Sunak is handed the keys in such an easy way.....

If your opinions line up with every government, every university, every major corporation, every media company, every NGO then you’re not a radical. Hmmm Rupert Murdoch's boy Keir starmer or Putin's buddy nigel farage
This is exactly what is going to happen in the new fascist take over of Europe, America, the west. Just like the corrupt paramilitary fascist death squad police force march into the police station demanding the genuine, honest regular police officer to have his group of people join the new the corrupt paramilitary fascist death squad police force so they can drag people out from there homes, round them up, carry out public executions, abuse and persecute instead of protect and serve. The new fascist over has already begun as France is set on for victory of the fascist marine le pen in the election, Germany is looking to have a fascist AFD victory in there election and Italy already has a fascist in power today named giorgia meloni, America will get the trump in this election and then the real fascist takeover of the west begins. Shame we do not have a real Robocop and a Sgt. Reed to save humanity from this police and government corruption. The Robocop movie series described the new era of fascism in the future of the real world perfectly yet many people did not notice it or are very ignorant.

At last we hear from Keir the focus that is an ABSOLUTE ESSENTIAL. The Return to PUBLIC SERVICE and the rebuilding of our threadbare country infrastructure. We don't want the GB to be known as the dirty country of Europe, (& if you don't believe that go to Europe and be embarrassed at how far ahead they are). The Tories have made the UK a Backward Society by looking backward to Victorian attitudes. The Labour Government of 1945, (the first after WW2), gave a commitment to Public Services and support. The Tories have spent the last 99 years trying to undue what worked best - "Nation Supervised Activities" This policy of Public Ownership & Regulation, resulted in World beating Energy systems and Security, a Motorway system, Cars, Buses, Motor bikes, Boats, Ships and Locomotives, all built in Great Britain by Great British people. Mrs Thatcher consigned that to the BIN between 1980 & 1990 opting for Wealth creation by Finances, (fooled by people who told her the UK would be the best), LIES on top of LIE, concluding in 2008 when the World financial system all but collapsed and ordinary people lost their savings and future pensions to MONEY PEOPLE. Who wants to go on with that nightmare ? Its time for years of Government, who put Society and its peoples NEEDS FIRST and REGULATES business if they want to operate in our Lucrative Market..
