I had never seen it before so I started watching it on Netflix a while back. But it made me so nostalgic I haven’t gone back to it. Happy and feel good type of show but idk it evokes such nostalgia in me I just can’t lol
You should check out the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on amazon! It is so good! It’s a comedy and the writing is incredible. The costumes and set are gorgeous. And the actors are amazing.

If you liked Big Little Lies, you will love Little Fires Everywhere....starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washingtonand is streaming on Hulu. Based off a book and so far only 3 eps are available but they were BEYOND bingeworthy ....
You need to watch Parenthood! Parenthood is in my top ten shows for life! I love the show. Almost want to watch it again for the 3rd time.

“Parks and Rec” is one of my favorites! I highly recommend “The Good Place,” there are a lot of actors that appear in both and the character development is amazing

My son's teacher didn't skip a beat and instantly was able to get together a packet for him to keep on learning at home. She still reaches out and shares assignments online for him to do and everything. Educators are not praised enough for all of the work they do!!!
Don’t trust the B- in apartment 23 is one of my favorite shows of all time. I’ve watched it all the way through at least 4 times. It’s so funny. I think they may have cancelled it unexpectedly bc the end is a little random but such an awesome show!

Highly recommend the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas for anyone who enjoys fantasy and romance. This is probably my favorite series aside from Happy Potter. 💕

If you like historical fiction tv, I would highly recommend Poldark. I also recommend Outlander tv series. Poldark is on Prime, Outlander is in Stars, Netflix, and maybe Hulu. Virgin River is a good more soapy/dramatic series on Netflix.
I will always recommend how I met your mother. Definitely a show you have to watch from start to finish, every little detail and part of the story all eventually ties together. My all time favorite

I think I’ve heard you mention that you love Zachary Levi...I would recommend you guys watch Chuck. It is SO good! 🙂 It’s on Amazon Prime, it’s a funny action show. I also recommend When Calls the Heart (earlier seasons are on Netflix and the current season is airing on Hallmark).
Haunting of Hill House (Netflix) is good if you like more thriller/horror. Outlander (show) is great; I haven’t read the books yet.

I agree with all of the shows you recommended that I have watched! I would also say Grace and Frankie is so so good. I don’t hear many people talk about it, but that is one of the best shows I have seen. So funny and fresh.

I’m more of a book reader (got a book-oriented channel and everything lol) but my mom and I lovvve fashion competition shows!
We’ve already watched all of Project Runway (most seasons are on Hulu) BUT Hulu also dropped Project Runway All Stars, which has previous winners compete against each other.
Then we just discovered Next in Fashion on Netflix. Also a design competition show but with a completely different vibe then PR! Much more modern and edgy. (Some of the designers, too, are so sweet and fun, they just melt my heart!!)
My mom lives in a different state, so watching an episode and then calling each other up to discuss the fashion has be a great way to lighten the mood and keep in touch.

Yes! The Witcher is great. It's an easy show to get sucked into and there are only 8 episodes. It has a Lord of the rings or Game of thrones kind of vibe to it but not at all like either one if that makes sense. Plus, Henry Cavill isn't bad to look at lol.
I'm about half way through the first season. Its really good in enjoying it. And I totally AGREE I reccomend watching.
The Nanny, Fuller House, Modern Family, The OC, Gossip Girl, Sons of Anarchy... I'll totally rewatch Gilmore Girls 😊

This is such a great video! Reminded me of all the shows I want to watch! I love parks and rec , the office and of course Gilmore girls! But my favorite of all time is the Big Bang theory. It’s funny and the relationships created through the show are so heart warming, it’s my husband and my “comfort show” we’ve seen it all the way through so many times and always put it on during dinner or lunch :) on Netflix “The Witcher” and “Locke and Key” are both really good!

You can connect your library cards all to the app and have all your borrowed ebooks and audiobooks in one place and you can upload the library book to your kindle as well! I'm currently reading Queens of Animation and it is AMAZING! Its about female animators and storytellers in early Disney days-- highly recommend!!

I have watched the entire Downton Abbey through 6 times now. AND I plan to watch it again and again. The Crown was excellent and i will watch that again too. My mum was English born in 1939. She lived in an Abbey during war time. She passed away almost 3 yrs ago. They both remind me so much of my mums stories even though they are both a bit before her time. I guess they are comfort shows for me. I have watched so many of your recommendations, Jess. You have very good taste!

I loved all your tv recommendations! If you like shows like it’s always sunny, you HAVE to watch “community” on Hulu. It’s absolutely the funniest show I’ve ever seen, and not as raunchy as iasip! Arrested development is amazing too. I love Nathan for you as well, definitely one of my favorites!! ALSO there is a surprisingly hilarious version of the muppets done office-esque documentary style. By far, the funniest thing disney have ever made.

I was going to say Community! Such a fun (and weirdly endearing in its own way) show! Especially if you're a fan of The Office and Parks and Rec. Good stuff.
It's currently in its first season so new episodes are out each week on Hulu but Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist is so amazing. I went into it thinking it would just be a fun show and it's definitely fun but wow is it heartwarming. I feel like anyone who likes musicals or liked Crazy Ex Girlfriend would like this show. It's about a woman who can hear people's inner thoughts and feelings through song.
Other recommendations:
-Hart of Dixie (small town medical drama focused more on the characters and relationships)
-John Mulaney's stand-up performances (highly recommend watching in order and ending with Sack Lunch Bunch)
-Alexa and Katie (high school aged characters but it's so good)
Been going on (isolated) walks in the sun listening to Talking As Fast As I Can and it has really helped this situation!
Yes! Lauren wrote Someday, Someday, Maybe, and it's a great read! Also, if you liked Talking As Fast As I Can, get the audio book. Lauren is such a fantastic narrator! I may have cried once or twice while listening. Gilmore Girls is my heart though!
I loved seeing you recommend Outlander!!! It’s probably my favorite series ever. You definitely need to read the rest of them. To me, the second one was a little hard to get into, but it has so much information and detail. The third book, Voyager, is my favorite!
My favorite show ever is Community. You might like it because it’s largely classroom based (community college to be exact). I had never heard of it until I met my fiancé and now it’s our absolute favorite! It’s so funny and has a lot of heart as well.

I am a teacher in Central Florida. I LOVED all of your website suggestions. Flocabulary is one of my favorite educational tools I use with my fourth graders. There are a few more that I can think of that are equally amazing. Dreamscape is like Prodigy for reading. My kids can't get enough of it. Also Study Jams is a fantastic math and science resource. It's got videos, slideshows, and quizzes on different topics. It even has karaoke videos similar to Flocabulary. I don't have much of a reach, so I thought you could maybe share these sites with your followers as well. Thanks for the video. I'll definitely be looking into some of those book suggestions ☺️

Great video idea! I love the recommendations! I have seen and read most of them lol. For shows I would add Victoria and Outlander. For past shows that are a binge worthy, I will add Dawson's Creek, Friends, Sex and the City, and Charmed. Books-Daisy Jones and the Six, The Lost Girls of Paris, Before we were yours, and the audio of Born a Crime and Heidi's guide to four letter words. :)

Seeing your TV show recommendations, it's safe to say that Michael Schur is your TV guy. :) The Office, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99 - I get it, I love his comedies too. He just does such a good job developing characters and somehow keeping the story lines organic. You should totally give 'The Good Place' a try - that his latest comedy. It might take a couple of episodes to really sucker you in, but the premise is really neat if you go into it *completely* unspoiled. The entire series has 53 episodes , so it shouldn't be too intimidating to binge. It also poses some really interesting questions about life, etc so that I love watching it with other people and discuss it afterwards.

Loving these videos outside of makeup! (Not that its bad you film videos about makeup. All of youre videos are amazing) Also if you have any ideas for crafts, pamper/relaxing day routine, cooking videos, ways to be productive, activities with the kiddos or anything like that I would love to see that! I also just really love watching your vlogs! I always watch your old vlogs to relax after a hard day.
Jessica!! Love all the shows you mentioned Handmaids Tale. It’s very dark but soooo good! And what about all the Chicago’s like PD, Med and Fire. Oooh and You. Also very very good. A lot of shocking moments. Dexter is also one of my all time favorites.
