You've said it , in that era they had amazing colours like even the pickup trucks like 454SS with red velour , and the Ford F-150 had red as well , I do miss the colourful interiors as well , I love the tan camel interior as well like the police cars
These are more interesting than the "new" reviews. Motorweek is on to something here! They have a full archive of videos that no one else on UA-cam has. Brilliant!
I remember my uncle had one of these.. It was white, with a bright red/orange interior. It had a really good sounding stereo in it for the time.. Fun cars..

I had runflats on my 1998 Corvette convertible I bought used, it had about 30k on it and wow - the runflats were awful. If it rained at all the car was nearly undriveable, it would slip and slide all over the place unless you drove it like an old lady. If you get a car with some runflats and it doesn't seem to handle right, in particular when the roads are wet, throw those things away and get some good performance tires, you will 100% notice the difference - just pair it with a AAA card and you're set.
abelucious That interior’s an abomination of Satan’s asshole. What were they thinking at Bridgestone? Like “Yeah, we’re promoting our brand on your car. What are the two most disgustingly horrible colors to all of humanity? Perfect! We’ll take a car in both!”
My friend worked for a Corvette magazine and he and I got a chance to tour the facility and drive one of the cars. It is fast, though we didn't think so when we first drove it. We were following Reeves, who was driving my friend's car, to a local lunch place. He asked us about the car, and we were trying to be polite about our impressions, when he asked "did you turn off the Valet mode?" Valet mode significantly reduces the engine horsepower and is operated by a key in the center console. After turning it off for the trip back, we were gleefully zipping along when I realized we were going over 100 mph on i95.
