Thanks for this vid. Only 16 minutes and there's some details here that aren't on the "official" making-of C5 documentary. WTF? Does anyone know of a comprehensive back story to the C5? I just bought a 2003 50th Anniversary coupe and love it, and I can't get enough of the background of the design of this car.
@@Ajimu imagine if Coca-Cola turned it's can blue, ditched the cursive logo, and redesigned it to look like a knock off Pepsi. The Corvette has always maintained a certain look and it was never intended to be a supercar, it's a sport's car. To see it mimic Ferrari SO much makes it lose its identity as a Corvette. Most of the fellow corvette owners I talk to agree, It looks nothing like a Corvette.
I'm in the market for one! I can't wait to pull the trigger on a 6spd! LS power varooom varooom 💪 🚗💨💨💨👏🤙😎
R.I.P. Pat Goss.

The same basic platform continued thru 2019 my favorite C5 is the FRC very light mod friendly
And to think this turned into a Ferrari lookalike.
not sure how that is a negative thing...?
