ALL parts used (caliper, rotors, pads, brake lines, misc. items) in total cost less than $1000!. Most Big Brake Kits out there cost over $1000 easy! So this is a cheaper way to get the BIg Brake look and performance on a budget
It’s crazy bro I feel like seeing this set up on video is completely different than seeing this set up in your car in person. These brakes are massive! Another awesome video!!
Do they look bigger in person? I can't help but look every so often, and realize how massive they are haha. And since it's a silver, stock color, they aren't as noticeable. But after I paint them, they're gonna POP
I appreciate the support. I have tons of projects I want to complete and other content that I want to make. Unfortunately, time and energy is a factor. I still have work, family, and person things I need to take care of
I have a 2006 Accord V6 Manual Sedan and am now very interested in this swap now are 18’s required to fit these dinner plates or could I keep my 17’s love the car!
You can upgrade to big brakes for any car really. The hardest part is the R&D. I don't believe this exact kit works with the CU2. But with enough R&D, you could potentially make your own kit. at that rate, you might as well grab something off the shelf that is known to work for your car
Do you think these car's will shoot up in value in the near future? I'm already 10k deep into mine might as well keep it forever for nostalgic memories.
@@thecarfiend11 I mean I said the same thing about certain cars like Mark III Toyota Supra was worth 10-20k 2014 high school now half the cars I wanted are worth double or triple, I don't think it matters if it's Type S or not I think it's about the magnificent body Acura made for these cars and condition that the car is. I think these car's will be consider classics along with the TSX and will shoot up in value but who knows. Also seen Base model sell for more on the market, just depends on mileage and condition.

@@thecarfiend11 oh yeah they do. Can’t wait to see them after you paint them
Great job and very thorough. Thanks for the awesome review! I'll be sure to reference this video for future customers!
No prob man. And I give you permission to use any part of the video as you need
Bro why did you stop making content
@Dad_dyflex-dx1qu I've just been busy with life lol. Once things calm down I'll start posting again. Hopefully early next year!
17" wheels such as TE37, some Advans and similar barreled wheels will fit. Waffles not sure but 5 spokes OEMs definitely don't.
I appreciate the input. Good to see you're back. I still get people asking and usually refer them to you
You’re the chrisfix for the tl community
I'm not on that level yet haha. But I appreciate the compliment
I liked that blue color you had on the caliper. It was different.
Bro you should keep dropping videos your shit is magnificent

will it fit with waffles or it is crazy idea
Probably won't fit without spacers
Do you still have the drill template for the caliper?
That's so cool. I just don't know if the stock waffles will clear. Would love to do the upgrade if they did
Test fitted the Type S wheels. They do not clear the 18Z calipers
@@thecarfiend11even with spacers ?
@@izzup Didn't have spacers on deck, never tried it. It would have to be a very wide spacer, I'm guessing
@@thecarfiend11 appreciate it man

18's are pretty much required
Do you know the bolt pattern for those rotors ? And what size rotors plz
rotors are from a 370Z, 5x114.3, 355mm in size
Hi can you tell me where I can get that BBK from and where I can order it from please
Everything you need to know is in the video and description box
Are you able to to this to the CU2 (2nd gen tsx) ??

I ended up selling my TL 6MT for a is300 5mt. I want to do the Porsche bbk 😩 big regret.

Probably not. Unless you have a TL-S, it gonna depreciate. TL-S generally hold their value better

@@quakerome4594well probably the manuals and the 07-08. Those 04-06 autos will forsure be in junkyards by then
Does this work with the 4th Gen TL?
You're gonna have to do your own research. I'm sure it can be done, but mounting holes on the 3rd gen vs 4th gen calipers are different
Can these fit 06AT
No. They won't bolt up
