- Since we never do things by halves at Goodwood, the celebration of the Indy 500's centenary went all out. With some of the greatest cars and drivers gathering and Queen's Brian May a short set as part of the celebration. Stars on show included Dario Franchitti, Scott Dizon, Helio Castroneves, Emerson Fittipaldi, Al Unser, Arie Lyundyk, Dan Wheldon and even then Indianapolis and series boss Tony George. #FOS #IndyCar.

I don't think the crowd appreciated the effort and expense involved here!! Did that marching band fly in from the States? Getting all these cars here and running...and the drivers! Impressive. I'd love to see the crowd get into it more.
Must've been magical to hear all those Indy 500-winning cars from all those years.
I can't imagine why anyone would thumb this down? Fabulous race cars all. I saw a good portion of them in the 500.
All these cars in the same place at the same time would have been a perfect opportunity to show a logical timeline of Indy racing innovation, highlighting areas from each generation of car, showing ideas and parts that lived on those which did not. This is especially important now that innovation is leaving the top level of the sport.
Wonder how many people are watching the Goodwood Road & Racing channel for the classic rock?

That’s the 2003 Panoz GForce chassis. The easiest way to tell the panoz fron the Dallara is the panoz had a triangle shaped air intake and very high sidepods where the dallara had an oval air intake and lower slung sidepods

I have yet to see something more American.
Too much pomp. Not enough race cars. This could have been trimmed to five minutes tops. (We saw much better collections of Millers, roadsters and other Indy cars at Laguna Seca at least a half dozen times.)
*spoiler alert* first 20 minutes of this are pointless
- marching band joined by girls who can't operate a flag
- random girl singing random song acapella (awkward asf)
- brian may + randoms hacking random songs
- poor guitarist dressed like sims beach edition offering poor rendition of national anthem
