Seriously I am amazed at all the beautiful dishes and stuff in the places you shop. I never see that caliber of stuff at the thrift stores here in Newfoundland. I lived in Halifax for one school year back in the 1980s. I met a few people from Newfoundland there. You can't meet friendlier people anywhere.

That was amazing! You know, I'm Ukrainian and I grow up surrounded by crystal beauty, which were collected by our grannies. All Soviet grannies were obsessed with porcelain and crystal 😂 Now I don't leave in my home for years, miss every old, rusty detail of it. But dreaming, that soon I'll decore my own little place with such beauty. Thatnk you for showing us it could be affordable! ❤

Beautiful finds as usual. I love beautiful plates as well and have several that I have had grouped over my t.v. in the living room. A bit unusual I admit but have enjoyed them for the last 25 years..

So many treasure in this long video. I cant even mentions all what I liked but one I would like to have. There was little brown owl statue🦉but you didnt took it😢. Plate with flower decorations are always beutyful❤

Oh my gosh what a great haul love it!!I know you were saying something about the plates I have a plate wall in my living room collectible plates, china different sized ones I made like a mural over top of my sofa on the wall my mom and dad passed away awhile back and they had all these plates I knew I didn’t want to get rid of them and to pretty to store away so that’s what I did and I love it matches my antique decor.
Italian crystal, yellow depression glass, luster ware, Italian cut glass, music boxes,glass candle holders, hand painted platter and plates, Studio One pieces, English silver platter, fine china, sewing basket, butter dish, vintage Genet platter, candy dish, Indiana glass from 1930's, musical tea pot. Thrifty I love everything that you found today. But my favorites are the colored glass. I love the green in the pink. I love some of the Cool blue but I really like the green and the pinks. I would love to go shopping with you, wow.😊😊😊

So many great finds! I have some yellow depression glass I found at an estate sale. I group all my glass in a display cabinet. Stacked dishes because I can't co trol myself when it comes to all tge pretty glassy things. I would love to see how you use these things more often. I need ideas!😃

I have never seen anything like that up here in Canada - ours have not even half the stuff - my fave of your finds was the yellow Depression glass - I have never seen that either until I watched another UA-camr from Florida show us some....gorgeous stuff!

This was a video I had to watch again on reduced speed. Sometimes you post videos that I want to scrutinise closer than the FBI even analysed the Zapruder Kennedy assassination tape.
Three things went into my imaginary cart: the hand painted plate from the Pottery Guild, another hand painted plate at 8:51, and something you did not pick up: a fabulous red footed glass with etching best seen at 10:09. Who cares that it's a singleton? I would use it to please myself when I am all by my lonesome. I don't even drink but root beer would go into it just fine.

You just went right to it today! I live in a small mountain town in north Georgia. We don’t even have a goodwill. Instead just a couple of thrift shops. This past week I found the 22” horseshoe platter for $5. I don’t know if it is original or remake but what a score!

I loved everything. Loved the Anchor Hopkins glass finds. What a score on everything.
Another huge choice. I spotted in the window of our local charity shop here in the uk, a large glass candleholder. Price £5.00. It was very heavy and I've never seen one like it before.
Definitely worth the money, but I am inundated with glass at home.

Wow, that thrift store was stacked with amazing finds. What state do you shop in? California? No where do you shop? What state? I’ve not seen any thrift store like this before.
Two comments: First, it's never too late to learn to sew! It's a way to bring into reality one's ideas, it saved money (sometimes, depending), and it's one more way to be self-reliant.
Second, in my opinion the Meakin set of dishes was much more attractive than the Kyoto one. $30 for it was an absolute giveaway. However, it's a set for 12 and I think that this many settings scares people away: it brings to mind large formal dinners which people don't give anymore.
To my thinking, what does it matter? Look at the pattern. If you like it, think it's a four, or six, or eight settings dinner set. Store away the extras you won't use, resell them, or just donate them. Problem solved! And you still have a beautiful set of dishes for $30.
