      I agree, that’s why carts are available to each customer to hold their selections so they don’t drop and break.
      People that pick through your basket when your head is turned momentarily are thieves!

    All of the Goodwills in South Jersey have signs on their front door, saying no drinks or food and of course no smoking. The customers who destroy the arts/craft/ knitting section are often reprimanded by other shoppers to clean up the mess they threw on the floor! Bravo for us! We all see how the employees work and assist them as much as we can👍❤️👍

    Doesn’t matter what kind of store you’re in, other people’s carts are off limits. As for the food, definitely not. If I go through a drive through, I don’t enter any type of store until I’m done eating.

      @@MegantheWild I had a dear friend who could see spirits and she said just check to see if any item seems to give off bad energy. She says if it doesn't, you should be fine. All I can say Is my outfit is thrifted, I'm sitting on a thrifted couch with just about exclusively second hand/antique jewelry on. If the adage you spoke about was accurate, I'm having an afterlife house party at my place all day every day. 😅👍💖

    I never leave my cart alone in a thrift store or any store. People will stalk you if they didn't get an item they wanted in time before you got it. It's happened to me several times. People will shop your cart even when you have the cart with you. I always get a garment first to cover up anything in the cart. I once found a quilt in a Savers Thrift store and I saw a girl eyeing me looking at it, she followed me around the store and kept commenting on what a great find it was. I got fed up and checked out with everything including that quilt. Even then she kept watching me, as I walked out of the store. I thought she was going to knock me on the head and take the quilt. People are weird. Also it's true nothing belongs to us until we pay for it. Just don't leave your cart.

    Hello Megan, I'm new on your channel. I'm just starting watching. This is my first video. All the beautiful treasures you have in your cart. I like them some pretty neat things. As far as eating in the store for me, it's a big giant NO, and as far as taking peoples carts like that, it's a big giant. NO, it sounds like to me she is a bully and probably does this alot gota to say it's my cart I picked them out and when it's in the cart I'm buying them and they are mine!!!! I went to a good will in ks and a little girl squatting down with a dress on and pead on the floor behind us in the were the bedding is at I told her no don't do that and her mother come around told me to shut up and I told her to clean that up she to me to go blank myself. To me, that's crazy it makes me sad how some people act !! It's all over the world. Some people just have gone nuts. Love your video such pretty finds. Have a great fun sunshine day !!!!!!

    I think a lot of Steins are bought by men. Women live longer and get rid of the steins when their husbands die. My dad collected steins, my brother got them, then he died a year later, then his widow got cancer and died a year after that. All Pop's precisious steins went kids he had never met. I am laughing because the man bought thousands of dollars on steins and never paid a dime in child support. My brothers step kids finally got the money. Good for them! Sorry about their Mom though. 😢

      No, it isn't. If it isn't your cart leave it alone. People park their carts to help make room in the aisle. They are being nice and you are stealing from them. Time is money and looking for good finds at the thrift store or goodwill etc. takes people's time. Stop stealing from people!

    I’m surprised there wasn’t a sign at the entrance stating no food or drink in the store. It’s usually near the one that says shirts and shoes required lol. Also, to me, the cart is an extension of yourself, like your purse. No way should someone be ‘shopping’ from it. I had someone take something from my cart at our local Goodwill recently. I didn’t see her do it, but she had been following me way too closely and made a point of me not being able to see her face. It was so obvious and strange, that when I realized something was missing I knew exactly what had happened. I mentioned it to the cashier, but didn’t make a big deal because the item wasn’t something expensive or something that I couldn’t live without. Sad though, robbing people’s carts in the thrift store? SMH.

    • @MegantheWild
      @MegantheWild  5 місяців тому +2

      There probably was a sign, TBH. I like the idea of the cart being an extension of the shopper. I’m sorry that someone went through your cart and took something from it. That must’ve felt terrible.

      @@MegantheWild I just thought of this: If you were ‘carrying’ the items in your arms they wouldn’t take it from you that way, so why is it ok to take from the cart? People just tell themselves whatever it takes so they can do what they want. So sad.

    I bring my own personal fold up cart to thrift stores because I go on buses to thrift stores, so everything I want to buy, I put into my own cart while shopping. I don't have a car, so I take my fold up cart on the buses.
    Sometimes, it may depend on your tone of voice when you spoke to the woman who was trying to get things out of your cart. I do think she was wrong to do that but maybe how you spoke to her, (the tone of voice you used), upset her to start getting upset. I'm not saying that your tone of voice was aggressive, (bacause I wasn't there), but it might be a factor if it came across aggressive to her that day and her reaction.
