Lee Marvin was the epitome of a tough guy the first movie I ever saw him and was Delta Force along Chuck Norris he played the perfect leader in that movie rest in peace Lee Marvin and thank you for all the great movies and your military service
@juliearmfield2634 Most definitely. Marvin was tremendous as Liberty Vallance. He played those villians with true flair, esp early in his career. Another fine one was in The Big Heat, a classic noir with Glenn Ford and Gloria Graham. In that one, Marvin famously throws hot coffee at Graham's face, permanently scarring her. Rough scene.
One o' the Greatest Generation... Same age as my Pops. He was NO slouch at sangin' either... Keep followin' that "Wanderin' Star" you were born under - and were Fo'Real !!! - Mr. Marvin... 🌟⭐🌟

@@marlenepearson3936 yes also the comancheros with John Wayne as well as North to Alaska with John Wayne and you mustn't forget The Caine Mutiny with Humphrey Bogart where Lee Marvin and Claude Akins play two kind of low life deck hands. A true classic right there.
Some of his drinking stories are legendary, along with fellow actors like Richard Burton. It was the era, a different time. Who knows how much longer they could’ve lived had they not had these bad habits and addictions, but they lived how they wanted to.
One of the best. He was in so many great movies. RIP.
One of my very favorite tough guy actor. 👍💪
Lee’s voice was incomparable in that movie era.
Thank you for your service. 😢

Great actor and a good looking fella ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
He was outstanding. My favorites are Point Blank, The Professionals, and The Dirty Dozen. But Lee enhanced any film he appeared in. 👍
Yeah, you're right about enhancing anything he was in 👊👊
He was really good in the movie he was in with John Wayne called The Man Who Shot Liberty Vance
@@juliearmfield2634what about the other one with John Wayne call the comancheros where he played Crow

Thank you ED!👍🙏
I love Lee Marvin. He and James Coburn are the same person. You can put Lee Van Cleef in there as well.
Died much too young, curse smoking and drinking

Gr8 actor and person..😢
❤❤WIA IWO JIMA.
I belie ve he was also a friend and pupil of Bruce Lee. Can you imagine, had he not drank alcohol or smoked he may still be alive today.
He looked older than 63. 🚬 and 🍸 caught up to him.
I loved him as Crow in the comancheros😊
A TRUE HERO. WISH HE WAS WITH US TODAY. TRUMP COULD USE HIS HELP. MARVIN WOULD NEVER SUPPORT THE NUT JOBS IN HOLLYWOOD TODAY . MY 2 CENTS.
He was the precursor of modern spousel support, without being married.
He also star along with chuck norris
"Rebel Without A Cause" as the gang leader against Marlon Brando and his gang.
🙋🗽🍎Lee Marvin was an amazing in The Dirty Dozen. One of my favorite tough guys! Rip Lee Marvin.🙏🏼
If you look up the definition of “a man’s man”, his picture would be next to it in the dictionary.📚
Contrary to popular belief, Marvin WAS NOT in WWII along side Bob Keeshan, aka "Captain Kangaroo"
@@allan9603 wait, are you saying he didn't serve in WW2?! That's completely nuts to say.
