Fantastic start to your Albania series! Drone shots and overall cinematography were splendid as usual. I found your first impressions valuable as it gave me a fresh new perspective on travel overall. Also, I purchased Rosetta Stone's lifetime plan yesterday through your link and I'm loving it so far! Currently taking an intermediate French course and found it well-detailed with a perfect balance of speaking and listening lessons. Definitely a valuable language learning tool 👍🏼
If tourism officials of Albania have seen your Macedonia & Bulgaria series they should be rolling out the red carpet for you , knowing the boost you will give their industry. Have a great time Alina ! 😃
Dear David, Bulgaria, Greece and Croatia have always been tourist hotspots, so they don't need a boost....... But Alina creates very cool videos indeed :))
Such a beautiful slow paced vlog, so enjoyable to watch and so relaxing too. I have seen other vlogs of Tirana but they all seemed like rushed and I didn’t enjoy them. Love your attention to details, details matter so so much to change a mindset especially when it comes to stereotypes. Albania has its problems like any other country does, there are always to sides everywhere you go but the way you appreciated the beautiful things you saw around Tirana it’s really heartwarming and makes you wanna watch more of these vids that you are making. Greetings from Sydney!
Another great video! I am planning on going to Albania (maybe even for a long term stay) and like you I did not know what to expect and now Im super excited to go! Thank you so much for this! p.s. I would also be interested in knowing more about how covid has and is affecting the country. Thanks!
Thank you! With covid its been an average of around 700 cases a day, around a 3 million population. Almost everything is open with the kind of rules you'd see anywhere else like wearing masks, limited amount of people in businesses, social distancing etc. There's also a curfew where businesses have to close by 10pm and everyone has to be off the streets by 11pm. Of course you can go out if it's an emergency or work matter at those times. Overall it's fairly relaxed though other than protests that had been happening this past week over a police shooting a civilian. But those likely won't still be going on in the new year I wouldn't think. Hope you enjoy your time here!
Hi Alina, first time viewer of your videos.Clicked on it because I have a fascination with travel. It is so true that there are so many interesting countries that unfortunately are not on the masses radar. Obviously this is due to the lack of worldwide tourism marketing. Whilst Australia( the country I live in),Canada and America are beautiful countries with lots of opportunities, unfortunately they lack the old and interesting history that Europe has. I thoroughly enjoyed your video.
Wow this video is fantastic I really appreciate it .Tirania is quite beautiful and impressive. I'm planning to go there maybe next year. I think 2021 will be more appropriate I can't really move because of covid 19. Really enjoyed watching this video All the best
The Albanian people are *SOOOOOOOO* Lovely, I'll forever remember them for the Best. Evidently, Tirana has changed *a lot* since I visited it, back on 1998... but, already then, there were *LOTS* of Restaurants and Cafés. :-) And it's natural, to look for foods from Home... I'm always glad to find a good Falafel, wherever I go. :-)
What an amazing lady ! Very beautiful , I am sad I haven’t seen around to get life gift a bottle of wine I have produced in my cantine of wine ! Happy new year ! You’re always welcomed !
As usual Alina, this is a most enjoyable video. I always wonder about how ‘the other half live’ as the saying goes. It’s encouraging to see all of the construction cranes and the relatively high end restaurants; both indicative of an elevated quality of life.
Glad to. See this video been thinking of you there during this troubled days . Don’t be afraid is nothing major ( is normal there unfortunately) just try to avoid them . Good luck I hope you are doing well

Aw thanks so much, Rahul! I'm so glad you're diving into French and I hope you find Rosetta Stone as helpful as I have! Keep me updated :)
If tourism officials of Albania have seen your Macedonia & Bulgaria series they should be rolling out the red carpet for you , knowing the boost you will give their industry. Have a great time Alina ! 😃
haha thank you very much
who do u think they lit up the city for...
Dear David,
Bulgaria, Greece and Croatia have always been tourist hotspots, so they don't need a boost.......
But Alina creates very cool videos indeed :))
Unfortunately Albania is just beautiful by it's nature and geographic position, tourism industry isn't developed.
Hey sweetie, thank you for the video, hope you had a great time 🙂
Faleminderit qe e vizituat Shqiperin duhet te shkoni edhe ne Kosove ka vende te bukura historike dhe male te larta then KS ❤️🇦🇱
@@AlinaMcleod Thank you so much for your thoughtful and informative response! Cant wait to see the upcoming videos :)

Welcome to Albania everyone. Thank you for this video. I live in Italy, boat in Agos I am in shengjin Albania
You play some lovely music and looking forward to more videos.Stay safe and God bless.
I love it ; I love everything where you go and I love ❤️
Beautiful video, thanks for sharing!

i am from Tirana Alina and i enjoyed watching Tirana from this video . ☺️
Wow this video is fantastic I really appreciate it .Tirania is quite beautiful and impressive. I'm planning to go there maybe next year.
I think 2021 will be more appropriate I can't really move because of covid 19.
Really enjoyed watching this video All the best
Thank you and hope you have a great time!
Thank you! You should visit again. You will be surprised how much Tirana and the whole Albania has changed since than.
@@liljanasufaj4130 ❤ Definitely! ❤
Great job on Albania ...Candice Bergman , even in her voice tonality...
Alina Mcleod, your way to express ideas is excellent.
Thank you!
Thank you and I totally agree!
Surprised me too, feel like visiting Tirana now!
I love Tirana in any season.
This was so great! Hope there will be trips to rural areas :)
Glad to. See this video been thinking of you there during this troubled days . Don’t be afraid is nothing major ( is normal there unfortunately) just try to avoid them . Good luck I hope you are doing well
Thank you! Wonderful video
Amezing city lovely have a lovely weekend dear..😃😃😃💐
Alina, I just discovered your channel today and started watching. I tried to maintain an aloof and detached relationship as afterall you are Canadian. But as usual, I couldn't help myself, and now I've totally fallen head over heels for you. Do with me as you will.
Nice video Alina! I will definitely put Tirana on my list of new places to visit in the future.
Thanks! Happy to hear it!
