Eating a messy, sloppy burger on the streets in Kuala Lumpur, a MUST-TRY for everyone in Malaysia 💪 Now I am craving a ramly burger 😄
😂 it should be entry requirement at the Malaysia border
You are one of the main reasons I started my UA-cam and I'm currently sitting in Jollibee waiting for my not so fast fastfood. I'm from Australia and after watching your video where you talked about you watching Harrold it gave me the push to just go for it and get out there. Safe travels.
@ADayOutWithJoel are you talking about my video in Siargao last year? Keep going 🙏💪
@@TravelEscapesDetour A golden idea.
Ken everywhere 😂
Wooww collab UA-camr very popular in mlysia 🇲🇾 Ken arbord. From Germany Luke Damat from Australia n bro Tim from Belgium . Tq bro colab 😋👍
Thanks for watching!!
I just got knew you from Tim Tense and Luke's videos. I started subscribing you now, Sir. I will support the travel content creators like you.
I hope you have a great time in Malaysia. And try the local food for each regions.
Ken's the veteran host today! He's traversed the little known streets in KL
He’s seen a lot of Malaysia!
You can't expect to become a durian lover with just one meal. To be a true durian lover, you have to eat it over and over again before you will love it. To tell u the truth, eventho i'm Malaysian but i used to not like the smell and taste before but after I taught myself to eat it repeatedly, then... the feeling of liking it emerged and now look at me, i'm diehard fan of the marvelous durian...!!!
Great idea for the 2nd channel 👏 👍
How did indonesians get license to sell satay on our street. That is the question unless he is just a worker like that bangla at the ramly burger stall (roney)
Malaysian style street burger. They called it Ramly because of patties. You may use wrapper to hold the burger. You also can order it custom directly. Such as less sauce, no black pepper sauce, no onions, etc.
I liked the extra sauce though! 😅 it just wasn’t possible to hold it together for too long haha
😂your reaction about Durian is pretty funny. I can't wait to go back to Philippines to eat fresh fruits again. I would love to go to Malaysia too someday. My sister is an English teacher in Thailand too.
😂 it has such a strong taste and smell.. oh yeah, this whole region has such great fruits!
FYI, its not Malaysian Rambly burger if its not sloppy .Enjoy yourself.Malaysian sataya has their own flavour n eaten with peanuts sauce, rice cakes or nasi impit, cucumber slices n fresh big onoins..Every condiment that are pair with the satay has their funtion.Such cucumber, to balance the chared on the satay as cleanser. so are the onion slices.Every of it has their remedies. While Indonesian Satay are eaten with soya sauce, squeze of lime n sometimes onion pieces.Thank you for coming here n have fun in Malaysia like Ken always did 😂
Durian is a fruit that you will like it the most or hate it the most. Theres no middle level of likeness
Hi Jonathan, great that you were able to connect with Luke and the 2 other bloggers. You must have some interesting conversations with them to compare your travel stories. I've seen quite a few of Luke's videos but will have to check the other 2 channels out. Hope you felt alright after eating the Durian and all the other food combinations.
Yeah, it’s always great to chat with others who do the same as me !
Great seeing it from your perspective. I loved your reaction to durian 🤣
I actually thought it was really cool seeing it from your perspective in your video too! 😅
You must try Ramly burgers prepared by the "Malay abangs @ the local malay", they make it the best. And do try the deer or rabbit burger :P
Betul tu.. Locally made is better.. That's why you should buy the original one not the pirated one😂
You all should try durian ice cream...no bad smell that you all cant stand, just the divine sweet taste!
Welcome to the world of Malaysian burgers! 😝🇲🇾
Haha thank you!!
Found her.. Baa Chak (Malay version for peek a boo) 😅😅
Wonderful. Thank you for this video. Good to see Ken and Luke with you.

Hey that's Ken! He has a lot of PH jerseys hahaha!
There are a few durian delicacies in Davao.. from candies to ice cream etc... they made it taste better but still the same smell, lol!
Hahah yeah! Ken has spent a lot of time in the Philippines. I may have to try the durian ice cream or candy. I think it can be found not just in Davao, right?
@TravelEscapesDetour Yes. But there's a lot of it everywhere in Davao, especially the city. There are "pasalubong" shops in Davao where they sell those products.
Everyone will feel bad the first time they taste durian. It reminds me of the first time I tasted it as a child. 😅 And now, durian is one of my favorite fruits.
😂 it had such a strong flavor! I’ll try it again one day! Haha
Durian smells like hell but tastes like heaven.😅
Johnathan & Ken, awesome.

This video made me missed Malaysian's street burger. It's really tasty. Im salavating. I wish I could visit Malaysia again😢 Try also the thin crepe with peanut/peanut butter inside. I dont know how it is called. 🥰❤️ Try the durian ice cream. It tastes better than the fresh durian fruit-🇵🇭
The peanut pancake is apam balik..
@@decTac it is soooo tasty. Do u know the recipe of it. I want to make some at home🥰🥰🥰
@@decTac Terima kasih🙏❤️
@@lalalauz9297 Google please

This is it, I'll just found already Jonathan. Durian in the Philippines (Davao)is more creamy and milky.
Must try roti John (egg burger).
Egg burger? Is there beef also?
Bro, if you are still in Malaysia, you must try Maggie goreng mamak. Just go to any decent looking mamak restaurant, and order Maggie goreng mamak with fried chicken and telur mata (fried egg), ask them to provide some limau (lime) and chili sauce too at your table. You will not regret this. For me, Maggie goreng mamak should be our signature national dish too.
Amazing bro
Hey Abz!
@@TravelEscapesDetour Hey 👋
Try durian bar from davao and also durian candy. It is delicious compared to fresh durian fruit which i myself can’t eat much. Durian ice cream is also delicious.
Several Filipino friends told me they like durian candy actually. I’ll have to try it!
Malaysia 🍔👍❤️🇲🇾
use the wrape to eat..it much better..
Yeah I should have done that haha
Usually my Ramly burger I order less mayo and no chilli sauce/less chilli sauce.
Guys… u make me laugh! OMG.. but nice trying… DURIAN..
😅

Oh well, for me your eyes makes me kilig 😍 💓 ☺️ 😘 lab yah my Johnny.
Super sedap 😂
Durian is loaded with carbs and sugar so take it easy eating it.
All of you looked like you had a great time tasting all the iconic street foods at Jalan Alor. You guys also looked like you genuinely enjoyed the get-together session!😅😊
Yeah! It was great meeting up with everyone from other channels!
I love durians😊
Did you like it the first time you tried it?
Ken is like a proffesional durian taster😅. He had lots if experiences here.
Actually there is a method to wash if your hands and mouth after eating durian so...the smells will vanish after that
😂 i washed my mouth with sugar cane afterwards ahaha. And yes, Ken knew what he was doing haha
Crazy, 4 vloggers eating in jalan alor.
We were the first 4 to ever film there 😂
@@TravelEscapesDetour true facts
The trick is open only half(bit by bit) of the wrap when eating the burger. We dont completely take out the wrap.
You can't say you've believe to Malaysia without having a Ramly Burger or Durian, that's for sure 😅
Apparently it’s the law 😂
Watching from Borneo 👍👍 🥰🥰❤️
Nice eyes and interesting vlog. Subcribed done. 😊
Thank you!!

🍔Ramly messy burger😂
Sooo messy haha
@LukeDamant why you so Long not upload video man? I'm waiting😢
Durians can be extremely smelly, it depends on the species... Musang King species is not as smelly as other species 😊
woah, Luke Damant is in Malaysia?

For durian, it's either you love it or hate it, there's no in between. That's why your friend like it, and you don't like it 😂😂😂
😂 that’s what I hear! I’ll try it again one day I’m sure. Do you love it or hate it?
@@TravelEscapesDetour as most Malaysians, I LOOOOOOVEEE IT!! I love it in all it's form, fresh from the tree, fermented we call it tempoyak (to be eaten with rice), or in desserts yummm! but that's probably an acquired taste, yes you should consider trying it again and again 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I can speak a little bit Malaysian language which is melayu
U westerners don't have this kind of street food in your western countries. That's why when you come to Asia, you guys are shocked to see variety of delicious food prepared and served at roadside stalls 😂
DURIAN is KING OF FRUITS Bro..
(insert leonardo de caprio meme 4x) i know all of you guys!
😂 thanks for watching !
Don’t know so many Ramly burger in KL are made by foreigners

Oo no, I wasn’t there for too long. It was a bit expensive for hotels actually
@@TravelEscapesDetour oh ok back in davao city
I'm sorry.. but u really look like Mr Jhonny..😂
Durian smell are like the smell of beautiful death… if you eat it inside the room… the smells linger for couple days
😂 beautiful death haha
Bangla's Burger
Do not waste the fruit. It is expensive.
Where IS the beautiful lady Anne ?
Haha 😆 the burger seller is not from Malaysia so burger is not fully Malaysian. . It's cooked by a Bangladeshi..
Merata ceruk diorang ada.. Punoh2😁😪
The Durian is over ripe...not nice for me if over ripe already...its too soft...the flesh easy to separate from the seeds...you will not appreciate the taste...im a Durian eater anyways 😝 😅✌️
Ooooo that might explain why I didn’t like it. I’ll have to give it another try!
@@TravelEscapesDetour must try the one with the shell haven't open yet...those durian open already and place in a styrofoam mostly are over ripe...since your a beginner😝 must try the native durian in the Philippines it is green small shell...thin flesh but very sweet...👌👌👌if you want bitter in a bit sweet must try Puyat variety...if you want milky and thick flesh must try Arancillo variety...i tried all this three variety 😉👌
Hmm honestly, this burger stall is run by Bangladeshis (not locals) so u may have picked the wrong stall in the vicinity. Those boys would ofcourse claim theirs is the best, BUT I don’t think so.
U gotta go out & look for local Malays cooking the Ramly burger. That would be the real mc coy!
Upin ipin🤣
Don't ever, ever smell the durian. Just eat it. Enjoy the fruit slowly. You will get hook to it.
😂 I’ll do that next time
That dude looks like you without beard 🧔♂️ 😂
😂 just because we’re bald haha

Fames Bangla Seko ni
Durian is famous in Davao but never try to eat that
I tried in Davao too, and the flavor wasn’t as strong
