KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 20 - Ramly Food Industries Sdn Bhd, which recorded revenue of RM1 billion in 2019, is targeting a 20 per cent growth for this year. Managing director Datuk Dr Ramly Mokni said this would be driven by an expansion in production capacity with the expected completion of a new processing factory in Pulau Indah, Klang, by June. The fully automated plant, focusing on products such as burgers, frankfurters, nuggets and meat balls, would be the largest in Southeast Asia and be able to process five tonnes of raw materials per hour for each product during the first phase compared to only a tonne per hour now, he said. For starters, Ramly Group will invest more than RM500 million to set up a four-line production capacity. It will raise the total investment to up to RM1 billion within three years to install two more production lines. (Source: Malay Mail Monday, 20 Jan 2020 07:04 PM MYT)

Greetings from 🏴 on my lunch break. Wow Ken! That burger was a work of art and definitely worth waiting for. It looked so tasty. I wondered if you'll be filming when you go home to Germany? Stay safe and well Mein Freund 🏴🏴🇲🇾🇩🇪🙏
Wow, suddenly I have the craving for Ramly burger after seeing you eating the burger, looks yummy. 👍👍👍 The prawns on skewers served with the spicy sauce, should be the Malay style yong taufu. Great, you got 2 new subscribers from the food stalls. The rice cake served with the satay is not sticky rice, it is called nasi himpit made from ordinary rice compressed into the rice cake. "Himpit" means compress in Malay. The satay looks delicious too.
A little is fully sedikit-sedikit but shortened to sikit-sikit ! The sweet sauce is a sweet soya bean sauce with the prawn. The full Ramly burger is with all the sauces oozing out ! If it doesn't ooze, it isn't Ramly ! Some add a few drops of Lea & Perrins Worchester Sauce plus pepper MSG. Mayo, Chilisauce and BBQ/Black Pepper Sauce are also added. Look forward to your return. Do show some real German food & drinks in Germany !
BTW those are not sticky rice served as a side order with the satay. They're regular rice but pressed/compacted, called nasi impit or rice cakes, and they go extremely well with the same peanut sauce. During hari raya you can see majority of the malay houses offering either nasi impit, or ketupat. Both can be eaten with either the kuah kacang (peanut sauce) or rendang

*For those who don't know yet* : Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company. The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia. Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia. They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.
Also for those who don't know yet: Banned from most countries because the meat used doesn't meet health standards. Singapore is just one of those. They maybe halal cows eyelids but I'd rather know what goes into my burger.

Welcome back. Bahasa Melayu is quick to be learnt. Just listen and follow the locals. English is taught in schools so its used together with BM. Still thinking of Thailand yes as you thought the nasi himpit was kao niow or sticky rice. Sate is rarely sold with ketupat these days as it takes time. Food is still cheap for tourists. The next time a person or persons ask your name, say Nama saya Ken dan saya dari Germany. My name is Ken and I am from Germany. That cheeky mak cik was very forward! Just say.. saya masih single..masih bujang. Enjoy. I will be in Bangkok next June, pai Krunthep song wan.
Wow so many travel vloggers are back to Malaysia now. Cool
Yummy... I want to taste the burger too 😍😋
Hope you reach 100K subs soon Ken 🌹🌹
*For those who don't know yet* :
Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company.
Also for those who don't know yet:
Banned from most countries because the meat used doesn't meet health standards. Singapore is just one of those. They maybe halal cows eyelids but I'd rather know what goes into my burger.
