Beautiful hairstyles. Gosh I remember all those years ago starting my natural hair journey and having people ask , "But you have a wedding/christening/party coming up. What are you going to do with your hair???" Now look how far we've come making our hair look sickening. And we can still take a flat iron to it to make it straight when we feel like it.
I love these! especially style 3. I love that you did styles on your really coily hair, no add-ins and stretching not needed. And all of the styles were super cute. I'm trying out style 3 tom :)

I've been watching alot of your self esteem and confidence building videos recently. Thank you BBBD, I've just removed locs that I grew and groomed for 22 years (with a few cuts in between). On a recent visit with my daughter in Calgary (I live in Toronto) we (mostly she) took out the last 27 of 102 locs. All in, the process took me over 1.5 years to complete. Now, I'm left with the "aftermath", all this thick, kinky, curly, luxurious (you get the picture), beautiful sister hair, complete with a swath of grey... for wisdom, I guess : ) I've been scouring the internet to get ideas about what the next step needs to be. Of all I looked at, your style was the one that I connected with best. You are cute and smart; you present yourself well....well done! I like Style 3 and I believe that once I've tried it, it will become my favourite style. It will be great for swimming and I love the look. I'll save the "curls" for when I "bust out on the weekends" tee, hee. Love. PS...While I was growing my locs, someone told me the story of folks taken as slaves and their captors referring to the african hair as the "dreaded locs" shortened to "dreadlocs". Since hearing that story, I've always referred to my "dreadlocs" as locs...nothing dreadful 'bout them.

We have different textures and different lengths but I sure am trying this one tomorrow morning. We are having sub-zero temps most of the week and it's time to wash and go my hair (I do it the night before). Hecky-naw, I immediately came to UA-cam on my lunch break to find some emergency alternatives; I can't have my 95% dry hair turning into ice crystals tomorrow! Subscribed!

A knee high! Omg! I'm bout to try this! Strands of my hair end up coming out with the elastic bands and I'll just cut them out smh. Style 1 is definitely gonna be my go to for work. And when I get up the nerve, im going to try style 3 :-)
Cute styles! Number 3 is my fav, I used to do this look frequently when my hair was longer (recently restarted my natural journey) the only difference is I would grasp the back with a banana clip side ways and just twist and tuck.
Love this video!! I've been searching for some protective styles I can just do at the beginning of the week and not manipulate too much throughout the week, but my hair is super kinky and thick so most styles i find dont work on it, but these do!

I have been doing 3 for years as a easy stylish hairdo. I use 4 push combs (black) for my updo. They are comfortable and don't pull at my hair.
