THE GOOD OL WIGGLE THE STICK SHIFT 50TIMES TO MAKE SURE HAHAHAHAH I LOVE NOTHING LIKE A MANUAL TRANS HAHAHA
How can you not?!?!?!? Am I right? lol
Great work bro 🤝
Thank you so much!!🙏 😀
Considering the same swap. Some parts were unclear. How did you know exactly where to mount the clutch petal assy on the firewall? Also how do you manually bleed the clutch cylinder? Very helpful videos, really appreciate it.
If you watch in the video (might be in Part 1) you will see that there is a "cutout" in the firewall pad to the left of the brake pedal under the dash, if you pull out the cut part and hold the clutch pedal to it, you will see that it fits factory where it should be❤ Also to bleed the clutch you will see on the slave cylinder the nipple coming off the body to open and release fluid, just have a homie help you pump pump hold and open to release the air much like a brake fluid flush🤙
Great video sir , what are you doing with the A/T WIRE PLUGS? do they go any where or you're dot using them , thanks
Nice work!
❤❤thank you!!
Very informative 👏👌👍🏾
Thanks brotha!!! I try lol, As long as these videos not only entertain, but inform and help, Im fulfilling my end 🙏🤙🔥 all love man thank you
Awesome video, thanks so much for posting this one! I have a question about the ECU, what needs to be programed into the ECU to make it work or is this part optional? Thanks again!!!!
Of course man!! Nothing was done to the ecu as far as programming, only thing the customer did was got a manual ecu and had the NATS flashed out to disable the immobilzer, other than that, factory ecu🤙
Thanks so much for the info!!!
@@Thecrookedking15 hey I know you may not see this but did you need to get a manual wiring harness
🔥🔥🔥🔥
🤘🏻❤❤❤
Thank you very much, information from your videos helped me a ton!!! Good luck to you mister, liked and subscribed
Awesome, I love hearing that. thank YOU my brother!!❤🙏🙌 and WELCOME!!!
After the swap did you had the reverse light when putting it in reverse? Or would you have to do a wiring for that too? Love the content bro🤙🏻
Amazing video really helped me out brody , quick question tho using a manual harness and auto ecu will it affect anything ? Or do I have to stick w the auto harness?
Honestly Ive never tried that combo, if you try it let me know how it fairs for you🙏 the manual harness will be good so you have reverse lights and everything else factory, but I usually use a manual ecu just to make sure the computer isnt trying to correct values and try for shift points when there is no more of that lol
Did you ever reinforce the clutch pedal with a fabricated bracket? I ask since the auto chassis doesn’t have the upper bracket. Or did you only have the clutch mounted by the master cylinder alone? 14:31
man where are you located? i want to get this done on my z as well
Fairfield Ca🤙❤let me know!!!!
Me tooo brooo 🥺
Great video am doing a swap on my g35 soon in the g35 the e break is where the clutch pedal is at how do I move it to a hand break
You have to get a hand brake out of the coupe or the 350z I think even works and get the lines for that, you will also need the center console🤙
Doing my slave and master soon. Heard these are a sob to bleed and manual way is the only way to prevail. On that note, about how long and how many pumps it take you guys to get the air out?
Yea they can sometimes be a bear😒I over do it so we probably opened the bleeder and pump pump hold like 20 times lol
I know we have to live w/the A/T check light staying on, but anyone ever figure out how to get the reverse lights to work again after the swap?
You ever figure it out?
@@JAKWEES Naw, just living w/out them at this point. Heard of a way you could bypass a relay an hard wire them in though, but havent really given it much thought since.
💯
💪👊🏻❤
Little late but how much was parts that costed him? How much was it for you to do it if you got payed to do it of course!
Have you done auto to manual on a G35. If you haven’t I would love to see that done. Thanks in advance
Not yet, but its the same thing, if another comes through Ill be sure to make a video on it🤘🏻🤙❤
Great video thanks for the help. Question, manual swap is in had someone else do it and I saw that the gray and red wire was direct to the 12 positive terminal. Is it ok to keep it there ?? Also I need to change my cluster to get communication going with the computer. Will this get rid of my cann codes ?
Yes its ok to keep it there, all its doing is telling the computer that its in park so you can start the car🤙❤ and with the right cluster idk if its gonna get rid of the can codes because the ecu still isnt for the manual. Much love brother
awesome stuff man, does it matter what year of 350z manual ecu you use?
Dude Im SO SORRY Im just seeing this, my fault, It doesnt matter as long as its not 03, 04+ youre good🤙 2003 was completely different with style of plug, lots of differences but 04+ was all the same to 08
Instead of removing the whole brake pedal assembly, would it have been possible to just swap out the pad to the smaller pad? Just curious.
Hey man so sorry IM just getting to this, people cut the foot pad down but you cant just change the pad on the auto, or they replace with the manual one🤙
I have access for a salvage yard that a friend owns. What’s cars did this trans come in besides the 350 and G35?
Were you able to have the reverse lights turn on? If so did you have to make a separate harness to apply power to the reverse switch?
yo! is this the KBD ING style bumper? thanks!
did you get rid of check engine light?
Did you get the check engine light to go away once you were finished? Did the swap cause any specific codes to pop up?
sorry for a question on such a late video, but were you able to get the reverse lights to work? i just finish the swap and it also feels i have a power loss in first gear untill about 5k rpm.
Hey man great work! I have a g35 and I’m thinking about doing this, how much would you charge approximately to get this done? Thanks
also was wondering this!
I charge around 900 to do it from start to finish🤙
How much is everything with parts and labor??
Quick question on the manual swap, does the car show what gear you’re in or is the display stuck showing you’re in Park the whole time
Im not sure if you mentioned this at any point but did you wire up the reverse lights and cruise control?
Would the wiring work the same on a g37?
feeling really stuck man, got everything done but i’m getting a u1000 code and i don’t know what to do :(
You’re gonna get a u1000 code because you removed the auto transmission computer. U1000 is a communication code. That unfortunately will always be there
@@Thecrookedking15 thank you, did you have any problems with the starter not lining up with the flywheel? when i try to turn it on the starter sounds like it’s spinning freely but i know i bolted the flywheel on right
Hey man I have a right hand drive automatic Z and I’ve been thinking about a manual swap. Is there anything I would need different?
🤙🏻🍕
🥨🎂🤘🏻
I did a swap 6mt and engine swap on a 2007 G35. I can’t get the key fob to program to the car but the Ekey will turn the car over. Security light stays solid, and I’m on auto computers. Do I need to swap ecu’s or flash it?
i have a question,, so my car is tuned and is automatic If i decided to do a manual swap would i have to pay again for another tune?
If I pay you can you come to Brazil swap my Z transmission?
Lol hahahha man id LOVE to come out to Brazil🙌🙌❤❤
There’s no need to replace the harness? I have a g35 coupe
can you use a plug and play instead of a manual ecu?
can you tell me how much is the diference from drives shaft?
between the AT and MT
is the imput shaft on the driver shaft the same?
i have Z with LS and i'm missing the drive shaft and since the at one is cheaper and about 30mm shorter i plan to move the engine back about inch and was hopping the AT driver shaft work on my MT 6speed without any mods
thank you
Just did this swap, key stuck in ignition and won’t come out 😩. Any suggestions?
Hey man, what you of wire did you use to connect the switches ignition wire to terminal 53?
Does Auto and Manual Drive shafts have difference?
couldn’t you just swap the ipdm from a manual z if you had one?
Do u think a ecu from 2005 can work on a 2006?? Or they need by the sane year?
Yes but if youre changing ecu your best bet is to flash the Nats out of it, the security system wont allow the vehicle to start if it isnt for that vehicle vin. My dudes at Hexa Garage in santa rosa can for sure help you out with that🤘🏻
Hey where are you located wondering if u can manual swap mine ?
Im in vacaville!
how did u remove the AT Trans light
tips on getting the rear main seal in?
Ugh the rear main seal on these cars to be completely honest is a Nightmare, the sub pan has to come down because of the rubber seal between the rear main seal and upper oil pan. either the cradle where the steering rack is on has to come down or the engine has to come up🤦♂️😒😒😒 Not a very easy job. Ive tried sneaking them out and in and it leaked when put back together....
Bruh I DM you about this . Deadass you is fucking dope man ! Thank you for always replying . Keep yah shit up ima be coming back to you with questions if I can’t find them on the forms !
@@AcMus1c 🙏❤I just want you all to win and keep learning brother, im here if you got questions👊🏻🤙
where u located i'll go to you
So you do need a different driveshaft?
yes a factory manual 350z driveshaft
@@Thecrookedking15 interesting because you’re the first person I’ve seen replace it, I wonder why/how it’s different is the manual one just shorter
Just curious if you got a manual ecu? or if you just unplugged and replugged the auto ecu
Got a manual Ecu reflashed with no Nats on it🤙
@@Thecrookedking15 Awesome! Thank you
how much would something like this cost in total?
Its about 1500 in parts and I charge 1100 labor🤙
Does anyone know if we swap out the ecu and wiring harness, does it get rid of the u1000 code? I’m just trying to pass smog 😓😓
Is it important do wiring for the swap ?
Just the jumper to the terminal on the ipdm. That’s the neutral safety switch so the car won’t think it’s in park and won’t allow the car to start if there isn’t power supplied to it
did you connect any wires to the clutch pedal sensors?
No there is no clutch safety hooked up, we could have if we wanted but he said it wasnt a big deal so I left it alone🤙
Did you get any fault codes when the swap was done
No, as long as you jump the ecu at the IPDM you should be ok
Can you swap a 7gm maxima auto to a manual?
Mike, do I need to to change the Auto Diff to manual one? Or can I use auto diff?
Im White Aaron, LMAO😂 but you can use the Auto diff, just need to change the driveshaft🤙
@@Thecrookedking15 sorry about that 😂😂, I live in UK I have Import 350z but right hand drive. I can't seem to find the hard line clutch line anywhere? Also is the line diffrent on righthand drive to left hand drive? Thanks
So I have a problem in NZ and I don’t have a grey wire with red stripes
red yellow
Did you not need the computer?
Yooo
whats up🤙
How much do you charge for this type of swap?
1100 for the labor🤙
Do a 240 auto to manual stuff lol
hmmmmmmmm lol🤔🙏👊🏻
wanna do mine too? :D
Nice one man. Charge those batteries hahaha. What projects you got coming up?
I know right? gah lol that was my bad🤦♂️🤦♂️😆HOPEFULLY big plans in the near future, stay tuned!!! All love man
