Sega genesis gaming music should be playing at these big Eletronica events with Marshmello, Deadmouse and etc... I think it would blow up as a new trend dude, at least in my head.
Long before my passion for the PlayStation, I grew up with the Sega Master System & Mega Drive, later the SNES, but the one thing I'll never forget is how good the music was on those consoles at the time, especially with games like this Revenge of Shinobi, The Sonic Games & the Streets of Rage series being among my all time favorites. I'll be honest I go back to listen to a lot of these soundtracks just as much as the ps1 games as they are so good. Just so memorable & iconic! Thank you for what you're doing & putting together these fantastic mixes. It really brings it all back & these tunes will always brighten up your day for sure... Epic!

Just brilliant. This deserves a standing ovation. All of them are great but The opening theme, the Shinobi, Sunrise blvd, Like a Wind, China Town and my Lover are just masterpieces. Generally speaking, the bass is superb. The fact that you created some passages to highlight each instrument/arrangement was a great way to appreciate that such short songs in the original game had a lot work put behind them.
I love that little sequence there 8:02 very tight. When you think of the limitations they had to work with. I'm slightly ashamed to say I never finished this game, I always got stuck on the labrynth level at the end, just seemed to never be able to find the way out. I think it was time based. I think it was a flaw in the game, it just seemed a little harsh to me and a shame to trip me up so late in the game.
Growing up, THIS was my Dark Souls. And unbeknownst to me, this incredible soundtrack is probably the reason I like prog/ jazz metal now I'm an adult lol

Com certeza ele foi incrível neste trabalho, o problema dos cartuchos é o armazenamento, as vezes uma trilha acaba ficando mais curta do que o compositor queria, por questões técnicas.

This and streets of rage are the best music to work to I create artwork and animations on photoshop and this helps me work super fast keeping quality high. It’s like a buzz feeling like you’re flying on another plane of existence.
You make good music better. It probably won't make you super popular, but its got a kind of home cooked meal feeling for my nostalgic heart and I love it.
