I saw the movie at a private screening in London On Monday, what a fantastic film about a great man, it had my attention at all times!!. The Movie has a premiere at FACT Liverpool on 29th October 2024, with a release on Amazon Prime Video on 30th October 2024 for the UK. The releases to the other territories are yet to be determined. A film to watch!!
@@lisettegarcia7013 Hey, I just watched the trailer and I’ve gotta say that I really like it! I’m so looking forward to seeing this movie whenever it comes out!
I was invited to watch the premier in Manchester on Monday 14th. Midas Man, was far beyond our expectations and in some scenes very moving. Jacob's acting was superb and the use of his story telling and asides to the audience gave the film an added dimension and a very personal touch that drew us both into the film as a participant and not just as an observer. Eddie Marsan, Emily Watson, and Eddie Izzard were well chosen for their parts and well acted. "The Beatles" carried them selves convincingly throughout. Well done StudioPOW
I hope the movie will have scenes that could be an adaptations of what happened: When Brian gave the boys their brand new looks, when he told Pete Best the bad news, what actually happened in Barcelona, and the conversation between him and Ed Sullivan. Hopefully there will be a surprise introduction in the movie when Ringo joins the band. It's your time to shine, Eppy!
I am a huge Beatles fan and looking forward to seeing this movie i love Paul McCartney hope the actor playing him does him credit i also think not enough is told about brian and finally we have a good movie coming about such a lovely man can't wait to watch this 😊❤
Yes. So many directors and productions for the movie. Not to mention the actor who is playing Harry Epstein, Brian's father, he is the same actor who played Amy Winehouse's father in *_Back in Black_* . I guess he had a lot of work playing as two famous fathers.
AT LAST!!!!! An official trailer to Midas Man is here! A biopic about Brian Epstein is here and his story is coming to life!!!!!! Eppy, your time to shine after a documentary, two books, a graphic novel, and a statue is here!
The movie will be shown on Amazon Prime for UK only on 30th October 2024. The premiere will be shown at FACT Liverpool on 29th October 2024. Other territory release dates are yet to be set!!
Yeah they didn't sound as good as they could be. They should have dubbed in the UA-cam guy Stevie Riks doing all of the Beatles voices, and Pete and Brian. He is awesome whether being delivered tongue in cheek or seriously.
Looks like it would be pretty good but I'm not a big fan of the voices they gave the Beatles Edit: rewatching it today not being half asleep I don't know why I thought that was the actual voice they were doing for the Beatles
Don't know how you know, only heard George speak, which sounded good - J & P didn't speak other than to ridicule Epstein's accent. Ironically Pete Best seems to be the closest visually
Great film, but pisses me off the way they are pronouncing Brian's last name. His last name is pronounced Epstine, not Epsteen. If you watch early 60s photage, you'll see interviewers pronounce it correctly. Bloody Yanks.
Jonah (Playing John) is 5' 8" Same as Ringo. Problem is that the other guys are 6' so the height difference is more obvious. Plus he can actually sing and is a great guitarist as well.
Well it's how you pronounce it. In the *Get Back* docu-series, George said Brian's last name as (Ep-steen). So did Paul. A reporter even pronounced Brian's last name like that as well when Brian died in '67.
@@bobwoolerOriGinal I figured it out and I respect it. Many people pronounced it like how Brian did, even John. The family name was Epstein (Eps-teen), but I guess Brian changed the pronunciation for himself for other reasons.
They better include the alternate lyrics John changed Baby Your A Rich Man to. Nah but this seems like itll be okay, but the casting for the Beatles is questionable and their vocal impersonation is terrible. And they also just don't look like them.
From what I can hear, they're just mocking Bri's voice in the intro of the trailer all 3 Beatles with the execution of the joke being Pete Best's monologue tone in contrast since he had no banter or chemistry with the other 3.
this is a story that's long overdue to be told, also they FINALLY have someone doing george's voice right!!
They finally got someone who isn’t 30 to play George.

Finally! Took you 4 years, 3 different directors, 2 years of delayed production and a year after SAID production ended!
Absolutely, but it looks like it's here now...😊
Not to mention the actor playing Harry Epstein, is done acting for being Amy Winehouse's father for the movie *_Back to Black_* .

Closer to ten years, I remember when Benedict Cumberbatch was in talks for playing Brian.

For someone who started becoming a Beatles fan, I’m actually really looking forward to this movie.
Check out the Esher demo, it's like an unplugged White Album.
CJBStudios what does that mean???
Very happy with what I've seen of this so far!

¿Cómo se llama el documental y los dos libros (no cómic) sobre Brian? espero tu respuesta.

This looks quite serviceable.
Will seek it out.
0:06 I hope this just John and Paul's joke, because their voice sound weird
Don't worry, they are from Liverpool & were just mimicking Brian's posh voice when he introduced himself!
For all we know, that last line “no, you are” could be from John.
@@liamn.watson4867 I thought this too...
It definitely sounded like John.

in their defense it's not really meant to focus on them. Sure, they'll play a big role but it's still about Epstein
Same
Don't know how you know, only heard George speak, which sounded good - J & P didn't speak other than to ridicule Epstein's accent. Ironically Pete Best seems to be the closest visually

When is it being released?
Does anybody know when is this movie coming out in the US?
OMG FINALLY
why is this not on an official channel yet?
It's back!
does anyone know when this will be released in the UK?
In the Autumn, all being well...
Thanks to share this video
Finally!
I hope this is good. Very high bar…
Leggy Mountbatten
It was the Trousers....
He'd been shown the door of every record company in London. He wanted to see my door, but I wouldn't let him.
Barry Wom
This does not look like a good movie but that actor is definitely good
was that Jay Leno as Ed Sullivan?
yes
Goodness. Trailer looked solid up till that moment. Seems horribly distracting to have stunt-casting like that in an otherwise serious film.
Will it debut in the cinema?
Yes! All being well in the Autumn...

I hope this does not turn out to be a dud. I want it to be great.
John's actor is a bit too short and George's wig at the end is kinna off. Other than that it looks great.
Jonah (Playing John) is 5' 8" Same as Ringo. Problem is that the other guys are 6' so the height difference is more obvious. Plus he can actually sing and is a great guitarist as well.
And what about the music ? Official beatles or not ?
No, just covers they did like Twist and Shout, Roll over Beethoven or Some Other Guy
Well, that recording of Besame Mucho is from Anthology. They might have some other song rights.
Im feeling a bit skeptical
Jay Leno as Ed Sullivan? Cheers!🥨
выглядит интересно
Besame muchooooooooooooo
Pronounced Epstein not Epsteen. He was particular about that.

@@yesi2117 I wouldn't fully put that idea away, you never know!
Bad wigs, lip synching, no actual Beatles songs. It’s a Beatles biopic, alright 😅 Sam Mendes can’t make his 4 soon enough!
Like all biopics of the Beatles, it looks terrible.
allergic to joy and whimsy
Especially the actor playing Pete best
So don’t go see it. Problem solved.😀
Doesn't even look that bad, i think the actor for paul is spot on, looks just like a young paul
Yeah I'm not confident based off what we've had in the past. I'm really hopeful for the 4 upcoming biopics though!
This looks bloody awful.
Another of the hundreds of lame Beatle exploitation biopics. Sad.
This is centered around Brian, which is a very interesting direction and much needed - Brian hardly gets the credit he deserves today.
God awful casting wtf
Disgusting.
Haha this looks and sound like crap tbh.
None of them look like the people they are portraying. The were the most photographed people on earth. Spoils it for me.
