Honestly Robin you are an amazing teacher. I teach special needs children and though they have varying levels of cognitive ability. I truly believe most of them would benefit from your instruction. Love & Blessings from Nova Scotia, Canada 🇨🇦 xo
@@HookedbyRobin I copied your easy heart pattern a while ago and made tons of them to stitch on my crocheted teddy bears and baby blankets. Now I can add your flowers too. 🥰
These would look great either jayg or sewn together to make a cute decorative spring scarf. They'll also look great sewn onto hats. Thanks again for another great video ✨✨✨
I see orange black purple white for Halloween, red white and blue for July 4th, red green and white for Christmas! With the circles , flowers and granny bunting my mind is just busy! Thank you for the simple patterns!
Just found your site tonight and watched this tutorial. I love it! Subscribed! Now....what to make with a bunch of these...maybe a table runner? Great scrap buster. ♥
This is great Robin! I’m in the process of crocheting big flowers for a mural but they look so flat. So I’m going to make these in matching or maybe corresponding colours to fill the centres! To fill the gap I guess you could sew on a bead or close in the centre with a tendril? stitch. Thanks so much for this tutorial.👍🇨🇦
Hi Robin, I love your videos, can you please tell me which yarn you used for this video please? I have used a number of variegated yarns but never seem to get the same effect as you, many thanks, Gill from Essex :)
QUESTION-Can I make this flower and sew it to a plain, single-yarn poncho I'm crocheting? I'm too short for a granny square poncho. I thought perhaps adorning the finished project with a few flowers (or if you can demonstrate leaves) might be a nice touch to gently bring more interest to the piece.
I don’t see why not, you could pin them on to see if you like it first.😃 I do have a leaf video here: ua-cam.com/video/ohgpiARtVnA/v-deo.htmlsi=7qS1wJ-cpfkBZxoL
I do love this little flower, it's so cute in that beautiful yarn. However, although I notice you've put USA stitch terminology on the video, it would be nice if you could mention the equivalent UK stitch, as I'm sure there must be many people who still only use UK terms, who may be confused.
I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here: www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet-stitch-conversions I always put this in every video description too!😃
I have tried this a few times and I think I have a tighter tension then she does because when she does it it looks loose and easy when I do it it’s tight and hard to pull yarn through stitches

Cute little flower. Just wondering, is there a reason you wouldn’t want to use a magic ring for this?
You can use a magic ring if you prefer!
Hi Robin, I love your videos, can you please tell me which yarn you used for this video please? I have used a number of variegated yarns but never seem to get the same effect as you, many thanks, Gill from Essex :)
