- Join the concrete crew as we wrap up work on this driveway and stamped patio. This job was a lot of fun even though Big Ray was at it again. Great weather, good concrete, fantastic customers, and an awesome crew made this job EASY MONEY! Enjoy

I know Bugs wouldnt like it, but just once a Bugs headcam while he finishes would be really cool. Watching a master of his craft work is always entertaining

Your willingness to please the boss and do the right thing is rare don't let the errors get you down man... learn from them, accept responsibility, move on, and no big deal. If Ryan is only disappointed for the moment and not mad at you, You are doing well so keep up the Goooood Work! Wear that pink hat like a champ when needed.

i wouldnt be mad at ray for running over the float handle imo it shouldnt of been left in the middle of the driveway but its not my company or workers keep up the good work
I recognize that Bugs has been doing concrete work for a long time, but that rolled curb is super impressive. I am totally uneducated on concrete work, but have learned a lot watching (and loving) your channel. If someone would have told me 2 years ago that I'd be hooked on a concrete company's videos I'd have rolled my eyes at them and given them the "ya, right!?!" look. In fact, I've been going back and re-watching videos from a year ago.
I'll be honest, I'm enjoying this year's crew much more than last year's. Enough said about that. Not only do you do great work yourself Ryan, but you clearly teach your crew well and encourage them to learn and master their skills.
You've mentioned in a couple of videos that you have had a couple of issues with a client or two, involving your lawyers, etc. I have to say that overall (& I know you'd agree) you have great clients. I have really enjoyed not only the jobs you've done thus far this year, but the people you've done the work for. When people see how hard you and your crew work and how talented Victory🇺🇸 is, they clearly appreciate it. Respect is earned, my friend, and I think it's safe to say that your clients not only appreciate your attention to detail, you doing the job well and right, but you wanting to give them the best job you can. It's clear that you realize they are spending their hard earned money and you insist on a job well done.
Thanks for bringing us along on your jobs, Ryan. You have one heck of a crew and do beautiful work.👍🏼

Wow this job turned out exceptionally well! It's always so cool to see a smile on the customers faces. Bug's did an amazing job freehanding that curb because to make it look good is not a simple task. Watching the crew work together like a well oiled machine is awesome 👍 I don't comment very often but felt the urge to on this one. Great job guys and as always thanks for bringing us along with you.

Tbh I think the guys resent him because he doesn’t work that much but Ryan doesn’t have enough work for him to be driving all day everyday so he’s in a weird spot

The fly over is even more awesome looking of your work. This has to be one of your best jobs. I sure admire how well it turned out. I have a similar amount of cement work that I need done but I know there is no one around my area that can make it look as good. I congratulate you on a job well done! You are a master of your craft!

I've been thinking about "Customer of the year" as an actual award you give a customer. Tell them at the consultation "oh yeah, we do this customer of the year program. At the end of the season we go back over the year and figure out who the best customer was, and we send them a gift card (or whatever)" and see how much better people start caring for the crew! Coffee and Cookies at every job. Hahaha
Ray is still learning - he doesn’t claim to know it all.
But he keeps going. In my opinion in time that will make him one of the best employees.

Hey im going to stick up for Ray even if he makes mistakes he still works his tail off. Growing Pains with a new guy learning is way easier when hes loyal, honest and hard working. shows up to work everyday. By the end of the season he will not be making those mistakes.

the finished job looks so awesome. everybody did a great job, and Bugs knocked it out of the park with his perfect curb! Hopefully Ray doesn't feel too down about some of the mistakes, but he's still fairly "new" and learning and hopefully he takes it in stride. :)

I'm amazed how freely you are able to use the word "joint" on your jobs. I did construction work for 25 years, and with the caliber of workers that were usually around, "joint" was one of the words we could not say. That word would most certainly send several individuals into displaced state, wanting to go for a ride around the block.

One of your best jobs on camera I have seen. The way that pitch had to roll was a hassle, but you saw a picture in your mind and it turned out exactly the way you saw it....... Now for Buggs you sir are elite hands down one of the best finishers I have seen bar none. I can't imagine the amount of hours on rolled burbs you have logged to make them look that great. I only hope these young men are watching you because the amount of skill and knowledge you have passed on in the last few years is enough to keep generations of this skill set alive and striving.

Poor Ray! The man is learning, soon enough he'll be a pro. Didn't he go from just being a CDL driver to now a full time concrete boy + CDL? Gonna have to get the man on the concrete one day, he'll have a much better appreciation of it after a few times.

He'll understand the do's and don'ts of working around/with the finishers soon tho.
Ryan the other forks are in the winter shop. You needed them when you were pulling the salt box off for the longer forks.

That has to make you smile when a customer ask you to put your hard earned logo in the concrete you done. The idea of making a block form from the extra concrete is a great idea and the half form is also great.

I had 4 of my concrete finishers that were like Bugs.
I'm a Bugs too...sometimes me & one of my finishers would pour 50 cubic yards of open patio (commercial work)...saw cut the following day, but only 2 of us with zero labourers.
Ray will come around with common sense don’t worry I like him and he’s seems to care about his job

I believe Ray is going to end up becoming a true craftsman. His attitude towards all of the jabs is a lesson on character that I admire. Every time I first see him in each video, Man of Constant Sorrow plays in my head.
