You could run in to this dude at the grocery store and not know who he really is. Dude literally is apart of music history and is so underrated
that’s how it is in rap the rapper the main attraction. rappers have to embrace the producer via shouting them out in a song, moshing with them on stage, getting them in music vids etc. you have to branch out to other stuff like edm or fashion or videographer to be known as an entity
Underrated to those Who dont know Who he is.
@@starsareangels true
Ya he's def hugely underrated to the general public but in the music industry hes hugeee legend who everyone respects
Producers often are whether it is in film or music. They are as they say say,
This man deserves a better interview.
Yeah maybe Vlad should’ve done this one. “Yeah man I hung out with Kanye before”
@@qoolhandpodcast hahaha yeah man
@@qoolhandpodcast lmaooooo
Fr why this random chick on here let her deal with lesser important figures. Not even tryna finish the vid cause it’s not vlad
Facts shit trash
Kanye's real talent is finding people.
He’s definitely a visionary as an artist but finding and attracting people is a necessary skill 💯
I wouldn't call it his "real" talent but definitely one of his best skills. Kanye has amazing all around creative artistic talent.
*putting the right people together to make a track which is exactly what being a producer is lmao so his real talent is producing
@@royale9998 that’s like saying putting the right people together to cook is what a makes your chef…Kanye can’t play the piano to save his life lol….he’s just good at chopping up samples
@@BMUSIK101 that’s literally what a producer is fam you can look it up lol they are the composers of the track they tell the pianist how nd when to play and finsh the track on their own. The pianist is a piece of the whole puzzle
808's & HEARTBREAKS WAS AN ABSOLUTE UNDERRATED CERTIFIED CLASSIC, & I STAND ON THAT!
808s and heartbreak birthed drake and all these mumble rappers....... Classic album one of the greatest
who underrates 808s? that album definitely gets its acclaim
Underrated? Lol what
@@alovesupreme it was underrated and unappreciated when it came out.
@@alovesupreme The old dudes
That's different bringing the Piano to a interview. I dig it!
* keyboard 🎹 😬
The team that is Kanye
I don’t understand how this interview didn’t blow up.
Yo Vlad can open up a whole different avenue interviewing musicians and producers with an instrument in front of them
No he can't...so he'll just interview producers who'll play the piano right there ..what is this a musical interview ? Lol
Can? He already has
@@TheFitnessTutor who else?
@@esotericallydoper6319 why can't he? Is it against the law?
You on to something
Man hearing those bests on the piano like that brought back some great memories. 808s and dark twisted fantasy are clearly classics. I don’t think anybody would debate that
CLB ‘s stupid ass fans
It’s so weird my own brother won’t even give Kanye’s albums a full chance cause he’s 10 years older then me (35) & he just can’t stand the auto tune lmao. But I tell him the story lines behind the songs & he still thinks they’re wack. Lol it’s just some people I guess
@@steelokey I'm 40 and I'll take your word for it that's its classic. No interest in hearing it tho
@@cjnv48 I respect that. Who are some of your favorite artists?
@@steelokey Im fuckin with Miles Davis and John Coltrane right now. With that said im checking out 808s now , its ok , too poppy sounding for me really but it's not embarrassing. But yeah me in my 20s would have never been caught dead listening to this and i was a huge kanye fan from through the wire before anyone knew him.
Yes! 🙌🏾...... I would like to see more interviews like this glad..... Us producers and beat makers f*** with this type of content. Looking at an old copy of scratch magazine right now
I want more Slim Jesus.
facts, the more uplifting side of the rap game instead of glamorizing crime 😂
On god
I still read Scratch magazine too
As long as she's not the interviewer, I'm all for it
Bro I could listen to him play Love Lockdown on piano all day. I love that sound
That part was dope

Tight work.😊🙌
This man is a legend he made it sound just like the songs, makes me want to learn to play the piano.
This has been one of the most entertaining interviews on Vlad
Always loved the ending of Power 👌🏾
Ok now this is cool af, always wished I could play piano out of all instruments
nigga stop being lazy and learn 😭

Great interview
I love these types of interviews. 🙂
i just want to meet people like this. Ask them questions about what’s going on in their mind when they come up with such beautiful music. Just learn from them. How can you still see people like him as normal human beings??
He's definitely a normal human being, just has God given talent. His talent doesn't make him less human my man. Peace.
big shoutout to the Korg Triton and how it created The Neptunes biggest hits.
This is the man behind the madness. 808s thru yeezus was a BADASS time for any kanye stan. So much beautifully great music.
Yoo Vlad you gotta do more interviewee like this with a live instrument infront of producers/songwriters this is a whole diff type of fire
Wish this was longer 😩😩😩
Outstanding!!
More of this please
This is fascinating content
Love to see Jeff in the spotlight. The man is a legend.
Shout out to SYMBOLYC ONE aka S1 formerly of the STRANGE FRUIT PROJECT who made that beat.

VLAD IS INTERVIEWING ENGINEERS AND PRODUCERS NOW?!? HELL YEAH!
People be sleeping on dude. Real people know he a legend!
He is so dope! Plays that stuffs like he doesn’t even have to try
nice
Gold
For ppl that call Kanye a genius. It’s ppl like this that be having his music sound crazy
If u we’re paying attention it’s Kanye that puts it all together he is the visionary/scientist Elon musk don’t build shit he just tells people what he wants and they build it but he gets all the credit
Okay Kanye still a genius
Musicians are the motherf&^%% who make most non-musician producers. Duh. Once Mike Dean leave, Kanye will get another musician. Who will change his sound.
That’s an oversimplification
Ya bc Kanye's music wasn't sounding crazy to begin with from the late 90s onward 🤦🏽♂️
Love lockdown changed my life one of the best songs and videos tbh crazy this dude helped prod it legendary on god
My boy S1 is also dope!!!!!!!!
People say Dr. Dre steals beats because he doesn’t play all the music himself and has other guys bring things in. But every producer works that way.
Music has always been a medium for collaboration. Songs should have multiple producers, that should be the new trend.
Every producer doesn’t work that way
That Moog voyager !
I like this interview plus she didn’t have to talk as much. This one is one of the best
This guy was also a big hand behind Fun's SOME NIGHTS album. a freakin classic.
Love from India 🇮🇳
the songs in the title alone are timeless. absolutely timeless.
i love this guy

This is crazy how piano keys turn to hip hop beats it's fascinating just rap on the piano keys
damn i didnt know he produed those joints, i loved love lock down
Vlad wr need more producers on here 💯💯💯
He produced power, legend fr
He was one of the producers on Power. S1 did the bulk of it.
808s was absolutely groundbreaking
Great interview. "Heartless doesn't sample so strong" confused me a bit. Heartless main synth is very obviously a sample from Ammonia Avenue (about 2:30 in) by Alan Parsons, right? Last I checked it wasn't on WhoSampled though and it's never been officially confirmed.
yeah that’s the main sample . but the drums and the piano breaks , 808s and bass are all original . it’s the chop of the consistent piano chord that stays the same
I feel like the interviewer got lost when he started talking about synths lmao
Damn I know I'm old when he calls the Triton old. I remember when it came out
never new this guy produced most of my fav kayne songs
there were dozens of people like him working on these records
