It's always interesting to watch her when she's working with people who are as good as she is musically; you can see her relax and put HERSELF into the music, probably more than with any other performers with the exception of Union Station. That kind of trust is hard to find, but the music that is created in that state is something special!
This is the kind of fiddle tunes my dad played. He played by ear, very gifted. He's been gone for 7 yrs now, but it can still visualize him playing the fiddle.
Also... that is a very fine fiddle, finely played. And is it just me or does the bass player look like she might secretly be a hitman as a side hustle?
I know it's probably fun to play wi th a couple more fiddles... but.... I think , it being a lonesome tune , it should have only one lonesome fiddle... just my thought .... and a mandolin.. Those along with Jerry's Dobro would make thisnsong
htfiddler I only know two of them, Aly Bain, a great fiddler from Shetland & Jerry Douglas on dobro, have a look at The Transatlantic Sessions, you will not be disappointed
I thought she was going to drop the instrumentals and just go for the bucks with the cry in your beer stuff. A fiddle album would be nice but I guess it would not sell as well.

Nothing is quite as soothing as a bluegrass fiddle waltz. It's sadness, comfort and romance all rolled into one.

What’s not to admire about this woman- gorgeous face, voice like an angel and plays the violin so beautifully. I wish I could know her personally.
I truly love anything Alison Krause...I saw her twice in branson mo
It's amazing what beautiful music people can make together, when they're not trying to be ugly to each other!
ugh the synchronicity of all those stringed instruments moving stately together in unison..hypnotic. 🎼🎻
It doesn’t get much better than this
The fidlers three are Alison Krauss, Aly Bain and Nollaig Casey.
Who are the other musicians?
No limits on this lady's talent

So who are the 3 uncredited musicians???
htfiddler I only know two of them, Aly Bain, a great fiddler from Shetland & Jerry Douglas on dobro, have a look at The Transatlantic Sessions, you will not be disappointed
Also Nollaig Casey on fiddle.
The second female fiddle is Erynn Marshall
Wow, of course you're right. Check out Erynn Marshall. They look so much alike and Erynn is a very fine fiddler.
@@twilson6784 Yup ... Erynn indeed. Good catch! :)

This lost me 2 marks on my music test
Watch her technique, and compare to the other two! Such an overrated woman. Very ordinary fiddle player, very ordinary singer.
Quick, let's see a video of you playing the fiddle and singing with a crystal clear tone and perfect pitch since it's so easy 😂
