Every group here has targeted civilian populations with intent of creating disorder or promoting ideological goal, as well as being disorganized, brutal, and not at all secretive about their activities
Compare that to say, Germany. The Bundesnachrichtendienst sure has done some questionable stuff, and civilian casualty incidents aren’t totally gone from germanys modern history, but they’re not a terrorist group because first and foremost they are a nation working toward the goal of stability, rather than literally all of these groups here.

A bit of a fun fact that I believe would be good to put is that my opa (grandpa) was held hostage by South Sudanese freedom fighters in the 1980’s his name is Martin Overduin he wrote me and my sister a book detailing the entire event he flew a single engine piper Sarataga and worked for a company called sight by wings (I do not know if they still provide humanitarian services. He was captured from June 24thto July 9th and the group that held him where the SSLF (South Sudan liberation front).

@@EliExps2 what?? how are there even comparable? the ira and pflp are both socialist resistance groups, with the pflp being secular. both of their motives are anti-colonial, with the ira wanting to end the british occupation of northern ireland, while the pflp fights to decolonize palestine and to create a secular state where arabs and jews live with equal rights. isis fought alongside american proxies like the fsa and al nusra before being too extreme for them. even putting aside the fact that isis uses incredibly barbaric methods of fighting, often against civilians, isis's goals were to create an "islamic" state in syria, actively benefitting americas interests by destabilising syria. point is that the ira and pflp fought against legitimate targets, using means that have been used by many resistance groups in the past, to achieve peace, while isis had no real objectives. they, among other groups, helped overthrow many anti west governments in the arab spring by killing as many people as possible and creating chaos. conveniently, their impacts on americas allies were small, if existent at all.
isis never resisted against regimes. isis WERE the ones that people resisted against. among the groups that fought isis is the pflp and its allies.
The list is probably based on public knowledge of the group rather than the actions of said group

I don't know about others topics, but there are so many wrong information about azov, lpr and dpr 😩 I guess it's understandable, this is really hard to know the detailed context of all of this topics, but don't know, can this video be helpful to learn about something.... maybe just to know that we have or had it in our history
I don’t go into too much detail, tried to keep it broad due to the amount of groups. But I did make sure not to be biased considering the affiliations of those groups (Azov being Ukrainian & LPR/DPR being Russian separatists) I’m sure one could make a whole video dedicated to the war in Donbas, this however is not that😂

Hope it’s not too on the nose, the Hebrew text above it also translated to “I have no other country”. Although the IDF isn’t specifically mentioned, it’s important to note that a lot of members from disbanded organizations ended up joining the IDF or taking positions of power in Israel anyways

Great video! What are the qualifications you are using to determine what groups to put in the video because there a lot more terrorist orgs out there. which include but are not limited to: IRGC, Aryan Strikeforce, World Tamil Movement, Russian Imperial Movement....

In India northeast there are many military organisations against india for independent but unlike naxals they are called "insurgents" and word "insurgency" and "terrorist" are lot different, i love the fact that you doesn't include them in video 👍👍👍

Yeah but he includes organizations that are solely for protests, some fighting for liberation, some were helped by the the US and then betrayed, and some are actually part of a military like the Azov battalion this guy lies through his teeth and uses some of these as fillers he does included insurgents in this

dude this video is really impressive and unbiased great job, I find militant groups really interesting and study them quite a lot. I'm not sure if I just missed it but its a little disappointing
to see some groups like the turkestan islamic party, Hayat tahrir al sham, and al aqsa martyrs brigade and other smaller palestinian groups not included on the iceberg
