For anyone who hasn't seen it the whole anime movie is here on UA-cam in what appears to be a legitimate licensed posting. I watched it not long ago on a bit of a nostalgia kick.
What a great speedrun! Nice explanations and really good execution. Also, the music in the nightmare stages is such a banger! I hope they had the volume a bit higher :p
I don't know why it took me 30 years to realize all the classic NES Capcom games like this and Rescue Rangers are made in the Megaman engine. It's so obvious when you look at it.
Why didn't you skip the night sea level? All you have to do is get all the keys in the train level. There's one last key after the door when the train stops.

The movie has a interesting history. It was combination of east meets west animation studios. Long development process.
Everyone should watch this movie... at least 10x. The movie is amazing! I wish there were more.

Never made it to Nemo's House as a kid, but the music and sfx will live in my brain forever.

I could never get past the train level as a kid. Now as an adult playing this on emulator, I still can't get past the train level! 😂
