This and Shockwave pioneered skeletal track. The cross-beamed, square look of this track looks awesome. Intamin, Mack Rides, and Gertslauer, manufacturers who have German roots, emulated this track style, and it’s easily my favorite looking track.
The last time I rode the mindbender was in the summer of 1986🙃😂smh..We went to six flags 4 days out the week that summer in 86..I was 9yrs old..Season pass was 19.99 with the "coke can"😂💪...I'm 44 now..it's time to get back to six flags...Six flags if I can show you guys a season pass from 86..I should get a free pass for 1 day..lol
This looks like a really fun coaster I always wanted to ride it! I'm glad for the retheme because it means it plans to stick around! People back in the day must have had crazy anticipation seeing the loop from the first drops getting closer and closer......!
In 2019, I took my 1st pilgrimage to Six Flags over Georgia and got to take 2 pivot head POVs of Mindbender before she was modernized in 2020 during the covid19 pandemic.
@@EastCoasters huh, interesting. The last time I rode Mind Bender I remember the surrounding foliage being much denser than this. I really loved that about this ride.
Yeah, not only that but they basically stook with the indoor microwave oven feeling cloned building structure for there "batman: the ride" coasters. Unless they've added any proper air conditioning or actually bother to run it if they do, haven't been back since 2020 and I skipped it (along with Superman+couple others) because they were clones of home park coasters (I'd prefer this to my home park minus the stand up not being floorless and a generally bigger and/or launch coaster being absent, I'm glad it has classics like Mindbender and Blue Hawk along with Goliath an above-average intense B&M hyper and possibly the best Batman the ride too).
Great POV! Can I please use this with credit in a review of this coaster? Looks like you got lucky with the trim before the 2nd loop not hitting too hard. It was bringing the trains for me to a near total stop.
Why are the new trains so much slower? This is not how I remember the ride being. It was a lot faster with the older trains. I guess the trim brakes were never running when I was growing up? The brakes on that mid-run look brand new so that's probably why the ride is slower now.
If b and m replaced the trains for this what restraints do they have? I can't tell from the pictures but are they over the head or not as this is a weired train design for them being 2 seats across.
Uh, that Riddler's Revenge is a B&M stand-up. The closest thing to this is Revolution, but that has only one loop as it's been around longer than Mindbender. LOL

Same! 🥃
How does it ride after the retrack?
Intamin are Swiss
Agreed my friend!!
@@funfairs__uk They are based in Litchenstein, which is a German-speaking province that employs and follows a lot of German culture.
I remember putting my hands up for this and never putting them down. I loved this ride so much
Wow, this was the first roller coaster I rode that took me upside down! Had to be the late 90s or early 2000s.
Fun ride, I'm glad they refurbished her over scarping for a new ride
I remember when this was built in the park. I've ridden it more times than I can count. Fun coaster!!

This is my longtime favorite at Six Flags
Went here awhile back never thought it was scary going on this and conquering my fear of rollercoasters
The ghetto "OHKAY" at 1:12 is definitely Atlanta described in 1 second LOL
100%
Loved this Coaster .Bet the refurbish feels Awesome
On that last bank, a tear would always push it's way out. Lots of g force!
One of my first upside down coasters.
This is my home park and I've never so much as seen the entrance for this ride. Lol
Hah, it’s just to the left of Batman the ride!
Its a fun ride my 7 year old brother rode it too
In 2019, I took my 1st pilgrimage to Six Flags over Georgia and got to take 2 pivot head POVs of Mindbender before she was modernized in 2020 during the covid19 pandemic.
Those brakes at the end are like my Mom driving.............
Awesome video!! Hey do you plan on visiting Canadas Wonderland to get epic footage of the coasters there?
Six Flags needs to know how to add shade. That Gotham area looks hot, literally
This looks like it was filmed in late winter. In the summertime those trees are green as can be.
This was filmed in the late Spring.

How do the new B&M trains feel. Do they make the ride feel more comfortable or does it feel the same.
It’s similar. Not too different
how do you know that b&m did those new trains?

Riddle Me This
Greetings! May I use this footage in a video I'm making about controversial roller coaster makovers? I will give your channel full credit.

Absolutely 🤌🏽
@@EastCoasters Thanks!
I made the mistake of having my hands up during the loops and it killed my back, shit was hurting for a few days
Not gonna lie the trains look kinda odd for the ride.
They’re new and from a different manufacturer 🤌🏽
Is it rough at the bottom of the 'loopscrew' ? Looks like it shakes a lot now
Yes, don’t put your hands up at any part of the ride it will fold you like a pancake
it was rougher before the retrack. it's not too bad but it is a very intense moment of high g forces so I think that is why it shakes more there
@@izduckii8143 I accidentally put my hands up for the whole thing. I planned the put them down but I couldn't due to the force
@@CxsmicRxse yes I made the same mistake and by the end of the ride my body was looking like
No, it’s actually smoother than Goliath. Just a lot of positives!
I rode this a few weeks ago! Better than original! (Hot Take)
Absolutely wack, I'd agree if the capacity wasn't awful now, and if they turned down the trims so the ride doesn't crawl through the course
Im going tomorrow,for my bday
They made it alot slower then it use to be we rode it at the grand opening last September
I’m sorry but how does this place 28th in the golden ticket awards? Above Pantheon, Montu, and X2?
Wikipedia says this was the first triple loop coaster... what happened, I only count 2
That would be Shockwave at Six Flags Over Texas
@@EastCoasters en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Riddler_Mindbender
Is wiki wrong?
@@SunsetWingman yes they are
That was a marketing gimmick. In reality this only has 2 inverting loops. The inclined helix isn't a real loop

Was this filmed in 2022? Or 2021?
The only ride I don’t like a SFOG because it hurts my neck so bad
Strange. It doesn’t have over the shoulder restraints and is one of the smoothest rides in the park.
If b and m replaced the trains for this what restraints do they have? I can't tell from the pictures but are they over the head or not as this is a weired train design for them being 2 seats across.
They're still lap bars, more modern ones. I rode it, they are not intrusive at all, true to the original while still being safer
B&M also made 2-across trains for _Steel Dragon 2000_ in Japan. Its lap bars are clamshells like those on B&M hypers but with added shin guards.
how was the attendance at this six flags
I went last year and can confidently say this Six Flags needs work. Especially being in a major city
my balls hurt after this ride
Is the drop intense on this ride?
No it is not.
i feel like this wasn't scary
That Name 🤢🤮
Believe me I know 🤌🏽
All the trees are gone and no little waterfall??
Looks pretty rough
Well it’s 40 years old
This ride opened in 1978, which means this will be celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. What did you expect, this is a Schwarzkopf
And it’s STILL smooth. Notice he said “LOOKS rough” 😅
@@EastCoasters IKR. Not every steel coaster out there has to be a B&M or a newer Intamin, Mack or what not. Gotta love these newer fans, I suppose 🤷
The Riddler's revenge and six flags California looks better than this one
That’s because it’s a whole different kind of ride.
This coaster has been around since the 70's.....old af

New trains awful. Never get the fun ride of years past. They nerfed it
I agree 🤌🏽
That ride looks very slow and boring.
It's a shame too, used to give great airtime.
Yea i disliked it very much
