My chromebook is refusing to connect to wifi and when I want to login and skip registering it say my account password is wrong? Did I just buy a $700 paperweight? Please help.
The Pixelbook Go is the default Chromebook I would buy if I had to buy a Chromebook. That said, I still would not buy one as my next computer. The aspect ratio is too wide; they should have gone with a 16:10 aspect ratio like in MacBooks or 3:2 like in the Surface Laptop or the original Pixelbook. Another problem I have is that Microsoft Office is not optimized well on ChromeOS, along with a bunch of other apps in the play store. But the biggest downside is the price. I get it is a very well built, premium Chromebook, but considering the fact that I can get a new MacBook Air with similar specs, but with a more wholesome OS and only play roughly $100 more, it's not worth getting the Pixelbook Go right now. If it gets a price reduction then yeah it would be worth it in my opinion. At least Google has finally made a refined computer that isn't ridiculously overpriced. It is still expensive for what it is, but you do get more value out of it compared to the original Pixelbook and Pixel Slate.

most of the people that buy these types of laptops are students, MacBook Air 256gb storage 8gb ram for students with an upgrade to i5 is 1300$ CAD + free AirPods (200$). Pixelbook go with an i5 processor 128gb storage 8gb ram is 1149$ CAD. at this point it just doesn't make sense to even buy the pixelbook as MacBook is pretty much better in every aspect from build, display, touchpad, keyboard, software than a pixelbook go and if u choose to sell the free AirPods it literally becomes cheaper as well. The only reason to buy a Chromebook at this price point is if u just LOVE chrome os and are willing to quite literally get scammed by google to get it.
