I've been binging these, and now I'm a big fan of Linkorz. He's about my age, a beast at Soul Calibur, and he uses three characters I'd love to use, or I love from the old games: Grøh, Geralt, and Seigfried.

How do these gamers get all this money to travel for tournaments? Are they sponsored or something? please let me know.
Well this is a local so most of these people just drive lol. But for Nationals like EVO they're either sponsored or only go sometimes
Living minimally (saving) while on a flexible job is usually the way to do it. Sponsors only pay for so much, and many people fly to and attend majors unsponsored.
Historically they payed out of their own pocket, it wasn't played for money but out of love for the game. I don't think SC6 is big enough for many(if any) players to get sponsors. Even in bigger games like Tekken 7 players are less motivated by the prize money and sponsors than the competition.

Everytime Link runs into difficulties he switches characters and immediately tears through his opponent, at NLBC anyway.
And yet, he does best with Siegfried almost every time. You have to wonder why he doesn't just stick with him.
@@h0m3st4r He plays better with Geralt sometimes. Varies on the day. Last NLBC he was going even with Saiyne as Siegfried. Link switched to Geralt and won 3 straight rounds.
@@h0m3st4r I believe he's said that Geralt and Sieg play the game he wants to play but he doesn't have that much fun playing them so he experiments with other characters like Groh and now Cass.

Damage, reach, good feints, almost all his blows throws you against the wall, or they take you out of the stage, even a sword can fight you.
Queen ivy is a beast
Ivy is ok...but you can avoid all her bs op grabs and moves and punish her with sieg
Siegfried is ok...but you can avoid all his op swings and moves and punish him with queen ivy
Siegfried is aids and needs to be nerfed. I highly doubt Linkorz win as much as he does if it wasn't for Siegfried. I'm not taking anything away from him because he's proven to be a sc6 genius but, It's also proven that he couldn't take more than half the tournaments he's won if it wasn't for the over powered Siegfried.

So much spam happening. This is the biggest reason I have never felt inclined to go to any tournaments. There's no style, no flair. Just spam as many lows and grabs as you can get away with, and if you find something that works, do nothing but that until it doesn't work anymore.
Just sad to watch.
