i was shocked how good this thing sounded, nailed some really nasty underground US solid state Death Metal tones.Bandmate picked one up cheap and gave it to me.

The format is short but right to the point, I like it. The Fang didn't disappoint, It's got saw under the hood 🙂

    I'm a bedroom player.
I find that with my setup (an SG or an RG into a solid state Marshall) most of the usable tones are with the EQ knobs between 11 and 1 o'clock - you can go further with the bass but it get quite ear-piercing with the treble over 1-2 o'clock (unless you're in RAW mode).
I ran into he clean channel, or to boost other dirt pedals - when used as a boost I allow myself more extreme EQ setting, though bass is usually low (pun not intended).
I like this format, it's a concentrated Pedal Vault :)

If you have A DOD Boneshaker try setting the gain at about 9 oclock on the Fangs and setting the gain on the Boneshaker at about 12 oclock, run the Fangs into the DOD ...its CRUSHING!! (requires tweaking eq on both pedals )

Good video length and to-the-point review. I grabbed one of these when they were on sale at Sweetwater last month for $39! It's hard to beat the build quality and tonal options for that price.

You gotta max the bass treb at 9 gain at 9 mid in middle volume set to taste

The gain circuit reminds me of the Metal Zone/Death Metal/Grunge gain circuit. Which means if you dial it in just right, it could clone an Ampeg VH-140 or Crate GX-140.

Für mich ist’s nur ein Booster fürs Eyemaster. Schiebt gut.

What cable did you use to power it?

Fangs works. Prefer TorchX. Twice the money but you get distortion, boost and a proper chainsaw.

TorchX... huh... never heard of it

@@DomeNightbearer Well, I watched a video you did on GupTech Torch. TorchX is Guilloume's upgrade to his Torch. Excellent distortion and boost was added to the chainsaw circuit.
