Hi Glen Good review if you switch your drone on when your at home and go into maps and zoom in and scroll around a large area it will remember them in cache the next time your out flying , so you don’t need to be hot spotted to your mobile.
Nice thorough review, nice to see places I film, but done much better. 👍 I had huge expectations of the Mini 3 based on the early reviews, like you I'm underwhelmed by the RC controller. I put a Brotec matte screen protector on mine which helps in sunny conditions. Biggest problem for me.... the screen is too small. When the camera is rotated to portrait I struggle to make much detail out. Would be nice if there was a hardware solution to make the flight display screen pivot between landscape and portrait with the camera. (could be done with a big square screen) Anywho, wishing you every success with the full time photography business, looks to me like you have real talent.
Hi Glen, Great job on the video! I just stumbled upon your channel and subscribed. I love the RC Controller. Between mounting it, buttons being pushed, and notifications, it makes things easier. But I guess it depends on the use case. I really hope they make it compatible with the Air 2S. I have a few different drones (DJI, Autel, and Skydio), and the Mini 3 Pro might actually be my favorite to fly. I’m looking forward to seeing your future content.
You don't need internet access to see the maps on the DJI RC. You just need to have initial internet access, after that the maps in your area (a very large area) will be cached in the device and you don't need internet access anymore.
Super 😎
thanks for your long term review, enjoyed it!
Excellent review Glenn. Had mine as a beginner for 2 months. Love it. I'm subscribed! Top man. Simon.
