    yay! I usually ask my mom to make me a jar of this like every other month. Idk if she will be sad or happy to know that I can do it myself now. Thank you and your mommy for the upload!

    Love all your moms video recipes. My mortar weighs a ton, it was passed on to me by my mother. Kueng only taste great using the mortar instead of blender. ( with sometimes I cheat and use)

    You can marinade your meats with it like how we did the beef kabob video and it is also used in alot of soups. Its also used for the meat patties. Just a lot of recipes use this main component.

    For presentation we did it on the counter. When not recording it was on the floor.

    Thank you for posting this. Having a tutorial on the basics is so helpful. I would love to see a tutorial of the bitter chicken soup with the lime sauce

    Hi there, I love the way how your mom cook. Could you please ask her, how long will the lemongrass paste last before it goes bad?

    • @seenachhan9524
      @seenachhan9524 3 роки тому

      If you freeze it as soon as you make it, it can last forever! Whenever you take it out to use it, don't thaw it all the way, just get enough of what you need, and freeze it again right after, it'll last forever!

    I want to try this recipe next, I watched some other videos where they made lemon grass paste in a blender and they added some liquid which made it look too watery .. well to me it did! Is this normally used in soups? Can it also be used for meat dishes?

    • @kontrop6339

      fermented mud fish doesn't go in kroueng. but in some of dishes you will use them both together in a dish. say while make somlar machu kroueng

      For months if you add salt with the other ingredients, squeeze them, very compact in glass jars with lids (and you can also add healthy oil just enough to cover them). Or you can also make a ball and freeze them.

    You can use this paste in cha kreung right? Bc I think near the end you said if using that type of paste for certain dishes might have to add other ingredients to the paste depending on the type of dish?.. I think? Lol.
