The "Da-brim" fits just under the charge port so it does not block the tail light. The blanton's was very tasty...I had to do that scene couple of times (LOL).
I just bought the R2 helmet and my tail light doesn’t work does anyone know a fix or do i need to return it? I also want to use my camera and need the brim, where can I buy one?
In the updates, you are suppose to be able to use voice commands..."Hey Sena", however, I have not gotten that feature to work. I think I need a firmware update.
@@tai.randomthings I also noticed that if I am listening to music and I start the intercom feature the music shuts off. Can’t we listen to music while having the intercom turned on and if we talk it just mutes the music?
Pretty sure Sena isn’t paying for the licensing and/or including it in their helmets. It’s not marked or listed on their site or helmets. Honestly the only thing holding me back from ordering. I does however look like they might have something very MIPS like inside… Can y’all confirm?
Interesting - even sena in their own video says they don’t plan to include MIPS in their products ua-cam.com/video/ogHbCAr2tI8/v-deo.htmlsi=o7GCCMxdq6smdSVi
Am I correct that the EVO versions for the M1 (and R2) are open mesh, which means that anyone on the same channel will hear what you are saying and you will hear them? That is what Sena support told me. Thanks.
Yes, but there are 9 channels so you can choose one that is not occupied. So far, I haven't had to switch channels because I am hearing other people's conversations. It's more that I have the adults on 1 channel and the kids on another.
Thanks for sharing the info on the Sena Helmets. Does the Brim cover the lights? Blanton's Gold, very nice!

Def going to buy these. 👍🏼👍🏼
They make riding in groups more fun!
Great video. question. Do you have to hit the middle button to answer a call? Can't you just use your voice and say answer call?

We just purchased two R2 EVO's and love them. And yes, they are MIPS.
R2 are MIPS!?! That's good to know, thank you for sharing.

@@Jrockin629 The R2 EVO is a MIPS helmet. I would not have purchased the helmets had they not been!

I stand to be corrected regarding MIPS. Sena does not offer MIPS protection in any of their line of cycling helmets.
Do you have a link to the add on brim you used. That is really neat and since don't wear sun glasses that would be great to have. thanks for the video
Here is a link to a video I did for "Da Brim". Hope it helps! ua-cam.com/video/QgwzQEfuYrA/v-deo.html

Helps my wife keep in contact . Has a long in sight range.
Yes, I've also noticed it has a very good range if there is clear line of sight.
I cannot for the life of me get music to work while mesh is enabled on my M1 Evo. As soon as I press the button to enable mesh the music stops.
If helmet thinks someone is talking on mesh, the music dims for me. Did you update your firmware?
We have issues with the music as well. Looking for solutions
Where is everyone purchasing these M1 EVO helmets? I cant find them anywhere.
