Roy Andersson has a specific way of direction, his depiction of the dead earth through the motionless camera, silent atmosphere, people sick enough to be immobile. That blue-gray scale adds to the emptiness and insubstantiality makes him different from others. Particularly what strikes a particular chord is the scream of the man in World of Glory. About Endlessness is surely an underrated piece, as it is with surreal pieces, but still it lacks a bit of emotional potential.
