I just got some of this mini King's spinners so happy with them. I' still need more colors for what I go for small to mid size bass and big sun fish. I like the smell bait's this year -go mini- instead of flying. Nice change even the 60 crank bait's. Like your video on BFS

@@rawrfishing can't wait for this crazy chicago weather to settle its somehow snowed today, I'm anxious for the spring bite as it's my first time and my local pond is huge and is not fished for bass that much so I hope I can hook into a monster largie last year's pb was 3.4 pounds I know hoping for a Big Girl out this season is a bit much but come on Big Mama make this Greenhorn the luckiest ever 😆
The Beetle Spin is a good one to throw on BFS, just doesn't have the skirt.

Normal size spinnerbait is my first confidence lure. Strike king also makes a compact spinner very easy to cast called a rocket shad they have 1/4 up to 1/2. Zman has a Chatterbait micro which they upgraded the skirt to o-ring style. Very budget friendly lures.

Sup Jimmy. WOW you picked the perfect size BFS spinnerbait, with the work you did on reel can even cast in the wind! Saw water and thought spinnerbait too. I saw a 1/16oz jig but I wouldn't be able to cast it. The jig with a trailer will be heavier. Also a willowspiin? But with bait will be heavier?? So I'm no hope there lol. Killer day! Lost count of bass, but know 1 bluegill lol. When recovering from surgery going to hunt for curado bfs, if not then the curado and get spool and kit later. Great video. Ty tc
totally a perfect one for that pond! I think the spinnerbait is heavier than 1/16th no way it's 1/16th lol. with all the hardware.. it probably closer to 1/8th. i'll have to get another one and weigh it. i bet only the lead is 1/16th at the hook.
yeah you can always add some plastic to change up the weight and also fall rate. If you can't get the curado, there's other options! I got a reel in right now that might be the best bang for the bucks for Chinese BFS reels. it's legitimately good out of the box. stay tuned for that one!

I recommend the strike king 1/8 oz to 1/16 oz jig with a strike king rage chunk or baby rage craw trailer….. it’s been a killer for me on the bfs outfit I’m sure you’ve seen it on the bfs USA Facebook group lol

You know I bet you could pinch a clam shot on the shank of the Micro king to get better casting in a smaller package as well as being able to burn it better. Ever fish them with a trailer?
if you need to burn it, definitely adding weight to spinnerbaits are pretty easy using that method! For my waters,, I haven't had the need to add that nor a trailer. I Fish spinnerbaits pretty slow usually and most of these BFS size ones are pretty good in my waters out of the package! so i rarely use a trailer :)
What lb line did you use?
Likely 0.6 braid and around 6lb leader material
