They, in the end, decided not to keep going with the investigation because the uber driver who drove them to the rapist's home before it happened said that she looked ''happy drunk'', so she must have asked for it/ wanted it.
The rapist even sent her a message apologizing to her (the fucking guts on this man) and they didn't see that as evidence but as proof of his good character.
Rape and sexual assault barely get reported because of this, it's a fucking joke.

I got told the same thing said to me for an SA case. My Ex asked to meet up with me because his mum died and he said he wanted to say sorry, and then tried to do the unspeakable. Luckily I got away. The police told me the same thing, “we believe you, and we have given him a warning not come near you, or he will be arrested, but apart from that, courts are refusing to prosecute”, to add insult to injury, the police who came to my house accidentally destroyed evidence, they didn’t store my clothing properly, and therefore it was then considered “contaminated”! They called upon a body language expert, and confirmed he was exhibiting all the tell tale signs of lying, and that I was telling the truth, but still, they wouldn’t take it to court. It’s not the fault of the officer who interviewed me, there was a man and woman and both of them were amazing, but the other officers who came to my house should have been given enough training to know how to handle evidence, they just seemed completely clueless, and the courts seem to not care about R-word or SA. I told my friend before going to the police and she said, “i support you, but honestly, there isn’t much of a point, it’s almost as if they don’t care, and the ones that do are under the thumb of the ones that don’t give a sh*t)!

i might be in the minority but i liked a separate channel for highlights. It not only meant that it was easy to find (for me atleast) but also all together in one channel. it also got me to click on other highlights to relive the moment even tho ive already watched the podcast live everyday. Peace and love always

In all matters context matter, especially in things where you can't see what happened and you can only hear. That's because the truth can easily be manipulated and evidence can even be faked. If he really is guilty of these things then we will see. However without being able to validate the legitimacy of these messages and voice recordings makes it useless as to use actual evidence. You're planning to throw someone in jail for hearing something you can't even confirm it's true.
