Hi Simon....loved the video...I just bought the black one via your link....I'm concerned as
it does not say "New" and it does not say 'New 2.0" Pls help...It simply said Black Original Laser Etched.
Pls tell me I bought the right one...It is what you link brought up...there was not other black one offered.
And...there was no offering for the mouse pad you said was so great. :( Pls confirm I didn't buy the
wrong item. Thanks much...! Love your videos...

I’ve had my Misti since I first started card making and they were just out on the market. It is especially great for anyone that finds stamping intimidating when starting out. I’m due for a new one now and I like the positive changes they have made on them. This video has lots of great tips. Thanks so much, Simon! 🇨🇦😊

I purchased a misti when they first came out. They were the company that designed this platform and changed my stamping forever. I was always afraid to stamp because if it didn’t come out perfect it ruined my project. Thank you for designing this tool and opening a whole new world for me and many others!

Dear Simon, please do not take this the wrong way: you are an incredibly talented and inspiring artist and I realise that this is also your occupation and you earn a living with what you do. But recently, your videos have increasingly turned into „sales programmes“. Maybe this happened so gradually that you have not even realised this. But I wanted to mention this - I feel it is a real shame, I miss the videos you used to do which give us ideas and inspiration how to use what we have. Of course, it is fun and helpful to see the new stuff that is out there and of course you (and we!) are excited by the incredible products you developed but, especially in these times where so many struggle with everyday bills, it would be invaluable to be reminded on occasion how we can derive joy from out hobby without all the amazing products you just have to buy. Maybe something to think about.. Otherwise, all the best to you and yours and kind regards from Germany, Nicola

I agree I find that alot of the top names in cardmaking are increasingly doing this, very frustrating especially for people who do this as they are disabled with little money 😔 I understand that they need to promote things but constantly pushing expensive things on people is frustrating and takes the fun away of creating I think. Hello Simon , I'm French and I met you thanks to Instagram and by chance on the gray shading sponges that I loved that I got myself . I subscribed to you , on Instagram and UA-cam . I started Scrapbooking since 15 July 2021 . I find that you are inspiring and I am learning new techniques . Fortunately , you show what you do . Because , I must admit that I'm really bad at English . And even , to write it that I have to go through the Google translator, to leave you this comment . You are very talented . In France , there are Scrapbooking UA-cam channels , but not everyone . You're the only one I'm off the French channels . In any case, keep going . I don't think I'm going to comment on every video but , I wanted at least once, to tell you that you have a given French and that I support you .

Are you placing your card in folded with he front side up? Could you fold it the other way with the inside of the card facing up? If you're stamping it open with the front of your card on the right, could you flip it over and then turn it to the left, that would put the inside of your card on the right so you could stamp it.

There are more stamping platforms available than the MISTI, but making your own is by far the least expensive option. If you're not sure about going the DIY route, you can always do a trial run with a clear CD case and a piece of fun foam. That's all you need for a DIY stamping platform to use with small stamps, if you'll be cutting out the stamped images.
