God it feels so weird seeing all of these in high quality… as a Rayman girl in 2014 I could only ever find these in the low quality the GameCube/PS2 had (and on top of that it had the audio synch issue) so seeing these cutscenes with no audio delay, high quality and showing all the expressions feels so new to me
It is a nice experience in HD isn't it? If you haven't played the HD version yet then I recommend it. Though if you have the PC version, you could play it in HD like the console versions (PS3 and Xbox 360 onwards), it just wont have subtitles or the remade/remastered textures and everything. The PS2, Gamecube and Original Xbox versions really feel downgraded compared to their remade/remastered versions in the next console generation and above.
@@RaymanSanctuary Nowadays I'd wish they would increase the internal resolution of Rayman 3 HD from 720p to 2160p (4K) for the Series X like Xbox has done with other 360 games.
@@Green_Stache_Productions It would be nice for a visual overhaul but it would count as a remaster and I doubt they'll do it. Not unless Rayman fans petition or demand it enough that they will pay for a remaster of Rayman. I would love for a remastered trilogy of Rayman 1, 2 and 3 just like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro got with their 3 games.
@@RaymanSanctuary considering how each game uses its own different engine I'd imagine full on remaking then would be a lot harder. The most realistic thing they'll probably do is just part all three games to modern consoles and PC with quality of life improvements like widescreen, 4K resolution, maybe upscaled textures, etc.

31 years old and still have fond memories of Rayman 3. I liked it so much that I beat it twice. The possibilities of world building is so amazing. It's a shame that it didn't get a proper 4th installation. Life 18 years ago was so much more simple. I used to play it on the gamecube back then. I don't know what made me look up Rayman 3 all of a sudden. I guess the world became a bit gloomy and 2024 is around the corner, so I wanted some childhood nostalgia. It had everything, the humour, the drama, the sadness, the dialogue that really makes you feel you're on a journey. Would work as a great movie too!
Rayman really seriously sounds like Sonic The Hedgehog in this game.

As rayman 3 was my first rayman game . I enjoy the time with this thec gameplay , character and music is so good
It is a good game. To me, Rayman 2 stands out as I played it a lot more growing up but Hoodlum Havoc was something at the time. I believe I had the PC version when I played it. The upgrade in quality though when jumping from Hoodlum Havoc to HD on PS3 and Xbox 360 was pretty wild. Going back to the PS2 and Original Xbox versions was a big downgrade in quality and it didn't have a good feeling to it, least to me.

I just started playing Rayman 3 HD on Xbox Series X and the dialog has a robotic voice, but your clips sounds so clear.
The game shouldn't have a robotic voice to it. It could be an audio issue with your console, TV, headphones if you're using them, etc.
Kind of weird Billy West got downgraded from voicing Rayman in the show to being a side character.

There was a Rayman 4 in development, it got cancelled. Nothing we can really do on that but considering Rayman's in Rabbids Sparks of Hope, we can only hope that there's plans for more Rayman in the future.

I wonder if the translators or the voice actors listened to the original voices (or even had access to them), bc there's sometimes when the characters sound completely off or don't have the same energy as the originals
I also noticed a lot of changes from the original script. It's a lot tamer (the original script can be really vulgar at times) and sometimes the joke isn't translated properly or it's just something entirely new.
And on top of that, if you add the terrible lip sync (since it was based on the original voices) or some of the voice clips that were left as is (it's really noticeable at 6:35), the english version doesn't sound very good
Call me biased, but I think I understand why some people say that the dialogues are kinda "hit or miss", the english adaptation really leaves a lot to be desired
Well, being for kids as well, they had to tone it down to keep the E for Everyone rating. If they had kept the original script that contained more non-kid friendly material then the game would receive an M for Mature rating. Conker's Bad Fur Day was rated M by Rareware, I don't see why Rayman 3 couldn't have gone the extra mile but I guess they didn't want kids to miss out on a limbless hero mascot who was for everyone and not just for adults.
But yeah, the dialogue isn't perfect by any means.

It's apparently not compatible with the 360 even though Arena is. You would need the HD version to play on the 360/One/Series.
